Abstract
ABSTRACT Aries Sasongko Putra. NIM. 7772150048, Teacher’s perception towards the relation of Junior High School principal leadership and teacher performance with the education quality development in Yayasan Mardi Yuana Jawa Barat-Banten. The Study Program of Learning Technology Pascasarjana of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. 2016. The purpose of this study was to to analyze the relation of Junior High School principal leadership and teacher performance with the education quality development in Yayasan Mardi Yuana Jawa Barat-Banten. This research was a survey and quantitative approach. The study population was all of Junior High School teachers who were in the area of Yayasan Mardi Yuana Jawa Barat-Banten. There were about 137 teachers as the unit of analysis in 6 Junior High School in the area. From the population , about 50 teachers were used as sample through random sampling technique. The analysis used was multiple Pearson Correlation analysis. The result showed that F test analysis has F value of 19.572, and the significance level (p-value), 0,000. This means that the value of Sig < value (0.000 < 0.05), it can be concluded that the Junior High School principal leadership (X1) and teacher performance (X2) together very significant influence on education quality development (Y). The results of the analysis coefficient of determination showed that determination coefficient of 0.434. This means that approximately 43.4% of variation occured in teacher performance. There was a positive and significant direct effect Junior High School principal leadership and teacher performance together on the education quality development. Junior High School principal leadership and teacher performance will further improve the education quality development, and vice versa. Keywords: Leadership, Teacher Performance, Quality Development

Program Studi Teknologi Pembelajaran Konsentrasi Manajemen Pendidikan Universitas Sulatan Ageng Tirtayasa. 2016 Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa hubungan kepemimpinan kepala SMP dan Kinerja guru dengan peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Yayasan Mardi Yuana Jawa Barat-Banten. Penelitian ini adalah survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua guru SMP Mardi Yuana dibawah Yayasan Mardi Yuana Jawa Barat-Banten. Ada 137 guru sebagai unit analisis di 11 SMP. Dari populasi tersebut, 50 guru digunakan sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan teknik random sampel. Analisa yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi Pearson. Hasil menunjukan bahwa analisis uji F memiliki nilai F 19.572, dan level signifikan (p-value), 0,000. Hal ini berarti bahwa nilai Sig < value (0.000 < 0.05), dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala SMP (X1) dan kinerja guru (X2) bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh signifikan dengan peningkatan mutu pendidikan (Y). Hasil dari koefisien determinasi menunjukan bahwa koefisien determinasi 0.434. Ini berarti bahwa kurang lebih 43.4 % variasi terjadi dalam kinerja guru. Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan kepala SMP dan kinerja guru dengan peningkatan mutu pendidikan.
