Abstract
This research was carried out to determine the response given by two philodendron varieties to the provision of 6-benzyloaminopurine concentrations. This research was carried out at the plant physiology and biotechnology laboratory, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University from January to May 2024. This research used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), which consisted of two factors. The first factor is the Philodendron variety (P) using the pink princess (p1) and green moss (p2) varieties. The second factor is the concentration of BAP (B) by administering of 0.25 ppm BAP (b1), 0.5 ppm BAP (b2), and 1 ppm BAP (b3). The research results show that the average time for shoot emergence starts at 1.55 WAP. The variety treatment had no significant influence on all parameters tested. The BAP concentration treatment had a real influence on the parameter of increasing the number of shoots at 8 WAP, 1.17 shoots, and on the parameter of increasing the number of leaves at 12 WAP, 2 shoots. And there was no interaction between variety treatment factors and BAP concentration.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui respon yang diberikan dari dua varietas philodendron terhadap pemberian konsentrasi 6-benzyloaminopurine. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di laboratorium fisiologi dan bioteknologi tanaman Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa pada bulan Januari sampai Mei 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah varietas Philodendron (P) dengan menggunakan varietas pink princess (p1) dan green moss (p2). Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi BAP (B) dengan pemberian BAP 0,25 ppm (b1), BAP 0,5 ppm (b2), dan BAP 1 ppm (b3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata waktu munculnya tunas dimulai pada 1,55 MST. Perlakuan varietas tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap seluruh parameter yang diuji. Perlakuan konsentrasi BAP memberikan pengaruh nyata pada parameter pertambahan jumlah tunas pada 8 MST sebanyak 1,17 tunas, dan pada parameter pertambahan jumlah daun pada 12 MST sebanyak 2 tunas. Serta tidak terdapatnya interaksi antara faktor perlakuan varietas dan konsentrasi BAP. | |||||||||
