Abstract

In modern wireless communication applications, breakthroughs are required to minimize the use of the increasingly expensive and limited frequency spectrum. Therefore, devices that allow the use of multiple voice and data channels operating at different frequencies to share the same transmission path are necessary, and multiplexers emerge to address this issue. A multiplexer with bandpass filters and the use of ring resonator structures is developed to obtain different frequency bands, thereby optimizing various applications within a single device. Additional bandpass filters are employed to enhance performance, achieving operating frequencies of 1.575 GHz, 1.850 GHz, and 2.450 GHz, with reflection coefficient values of -22.25 dB, -13.86 dB, and -12.54 dB, and transmission coefficient values of -1.53 dB, -0.89 dB, and -1.23 dB, respectively. The obtained bandwidths are 38 MHz, 96 MHz, and 65 MHz in sequence. The measurements of the designed multiplexer device indicate good performance and applicability.

Additional Information: Dalam pengaplikasian komunikasi nirkabel modern, diperlukan terobosan untuk meminimalisir penggunaan spektrum frekuensi yang semakin mahal dan terbatas. Maka dari itu, diperlukan perangkat yang memungkinkan penggunaan beberapa saluran suara dan data yang beroperasi pada frekuensi yang berbeda untuk berbagi jalur transmisi yang sama sehingga multiplexer hadir untuk menjawab masalah tersebut. Multiplexer dengan bandpass filter dan penggunaan struktur ring resonator dikembangkan untuk memperoleh pita frekuensi yang berbeda sehingga dapat mengefisiensi berbagai pengaplikasian dalam 1 perangkat. Tambahan bandpass filter digunakan agar performa lebih optimal sehingga diperoleh frekuensi kerja pada 1.575 GHz, 1.850 GHz, dan 2.450 GHz dengan nilai reflection coefficient berturut-turut sebesar -22.25 dB, -13.86 dB dan -12.54 dB dan nilai transmission coefficient berturut-turut sebesar -1.53 dB, -0.89 dB, -1.23 dB, adapun bandwidth yang diperoleh berurutan sebesar 38 MHz, 96 MHz, dan 65 MHz. Hasil pengukuran perangkat multiplexer yang telah dirancang ini sudah baik dan dapat diaplikasikan.
