Abstract
The increasing population growth in Cilegon City has led to the emergence of impacts and issues for the environment. One of the causes of environmental issues is the increasing accumulation of waste. The increasing accumulation of waste leads to various environmental impacts, such as floods, the emergence of disease vectors, and others. The estimated daily waste generated in Indonesia is 0,68 kg/capita/day, and it is projected that with a population growth (Cilegon City) rate of 1,49%, the landfill in Cilegon will reach its maximum capacity by the year 2042. This study aims to identify waste management scenarios that can prevent the TPSA from reaching its full capacity, determine the scenario that leaves the most remaining landfill capacity, and outline the preparations that the Cilegon City Government needs to make to prevent the TPSA from reaching its full capacity. The research utilizes dynamic system simulations using Causal Loop Diagrams (CLD) and Stock Flow Diagrams (SFD). The existing system is developed into 4 alternative scenarios, that is scenario 1 (BBJP production), scenario 2 (compost production at TPS3R and BBJP production), scenario 3 (plastic shredding production at TPS3R and BBJP production), and scenario 4 (compost production and plastic shredding at TPS3R and BBJP production). Based on the comparative results, scenario 4 is selected as the alternative that can prevent the TPSA from reaching its full capacity, with the landfill being filled up to 8.045.836 tons by the year 2046 and leaving 1.954.164 tons of its total maximum capacity.

Additional Information: | Meningkatnya pertumbuhan penduduk pada Kota Cilegon menyebabkan timbulnya dampak serta permasalahan bagi lingkungan. Salah satu penyebab muncul permasalahan lingkungan adalah meningkatnya timbunan sampah. Meningkatnya timbunan sampah menyebabkan munculnya berbagai dampak bagi lingkungan seperti banjir, munculnya bibit penyakit, dan lain-lain. Estimasi sampah yang dihasilkan masyarakat Indonesia dalam sehari adalah 0,68 kg/kapita/hari, dan diperkirakan dengan laju pertumbuhan penduduk (Kota Cilegon) mencapai 1,49%, kondisi landfill Kota Cilegon akan mencapai kapasitas maksimumnya pada tahun 2042. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui skenario yang dapat mencegah penuhnya TPSA, mengetahui skenario yang paling banyak menyisakan kapasitas landfill, mengetahui apa saja yang harus disiapkan untuk mencegah penuhnya TPSA. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan simulasi sistem dinamis menggunakan Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) dan Stock Flow Diagram (SFD). Sistem existing dikembangkan menjadi 4 skenario alternatif yaitu skenario 1 (produksi BBJP), skenario 2 (produksi pupuk kompos pada TPS3R dan produksi BBJP), skenario 3 (produksi cacahan plastik pada TPS3R dan produksi BBJP), dan skenario 4 (produksi pupuk kompos dan cacahan plastik pada TPS3R serta produksi BBJP). Berdasarkan hasil perbandingan, skenario 4 terpilih sebagai alternatif yang dapat mencegah penuhnya TPSA dengan landfill terisi mencapai 8.045.836 ton (tahun 2046) dan menyisakan 1.954.164 ton dari total kapasitas maksimumnya. | |||||||||
