Abstract
Introduction to the School Field (PLP) is an activity programmed by the campus through LPTK which includes two things, namely teaching training and non-teaching training. The aim of this research is to find out the difficulties encountered by mechanical engineering vocational education students in implementing PLP at vocational schools and efforts to overcome them and to find out the benefits obtained by mechanical engineering vocational education students during and after implementing PLP at vocational schools. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The object of the research is information related to problems in implementing the 2022 PLP which have been carried out by mechanical engineering vocational education students. The research subjects were mechanical engineering vocational education students class of 2019. The data collection instruments were the researchers themselves with the help of observation guidelines and interview guidelines. From the research results, it was found that difficulties for vocational education students in implementing PLP in vocational schools include mental readiness, class management, mastery of material, limited learning facilities and infrastructure at school. The benefits of implementing PLP that students receive include students getting to know the school environment, knowing the learning administration required before teaching, knowing the actual conditions in the classroom during teaching, knowing how to teach well by applying basic teaching skills, and being able to implement or apply the knowledge or knowledge that has been obtained. obtained in college.

Additional Information: | Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) yaitu kegiatan yang diprogramkan oleh kampus melalui LPTK yang meliputi dua hal, yaitu latihan mengajar dan latihan non mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui kesulitan yang ditemui mahasiswa pendidikan vokasional teknik mesin dalam pelaksanaan PLP di SMK serta upaya penangananya dan Untuk mengetahui manfaat yang diperoleh mahasiswa pendidikan vokasional teknik mesin selama dan setelah pelaksanaan PLP di SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Obyek penelitian adalah informasi terkait permasalahan dalam pelaksanaan PLP tahun 2022 yang telah dilaksanakan mahasiswa pendidikan vokasional teknik mesin. Subyek penelitian adalah Mahasiswa pendidikan vokasional teknik mesin angkatan 2019. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah peneliti sendiri dengan bantuan pedoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan kesulitan mahasiswa pendidikan vokasional dalam pelaksanaan PLP diSMK meliputi kesiapan mental, pengelolaan kelas, penguasaan materi, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran di sekolah. Manfaat pelaksanaan PLP yang diterima mahasiswa meliputi mahasiswa mengenal lingkungan sekolah, mengetahui administrasi pembelajaran yang diperlukan sebelum mengajar, mengetahui kondisi di dalam kelas sebenernya selama mengajar, mengetahui cara mengajar yang baik dengan menerapkan keterampilan dasar mengajar, dan dapat mengimplementasikan atau menerapkan pengetahuan atau ilmu yang telah didapatdi bangku kuliah. | |||||||||
