Abstract
This study aims to describe the process of implementation and the response capability of people with mental disorders (ODGJ) to sensory stimulation group therapy activities at Panti Sosial Bina Laras Harapan Sentosa 4. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The results of the study indicate that sensory stimulation activity therapy, particularly listening to music, has been consistently implemented. This therapy is conducted every Friday for 120 minutes. The chosen music varies to stimulate the physical and emotional responses of the patients. There are two types of responses from ODGJ patients after being given the sensory stimulation group activity therapy. Most patients respond actively and adaptively, although there are challenges in addressing maladaptive responses. Support from nurses and music instructors, along with continuous evaluation, has created a therapeutic environment that supports the healing process. This therapy not only provides individual benefits but also strengthens social interaction, making it a powerful tool in holistic care.
