Abstract

In the 21st century, it is known as the century of knowledge which is the main basis for life. In 2022 the government will implement an independent curriculum to achieve education goals in Indonesia. One of the efforts made by the government is to hold a minimum competency assessment. This activity aims to strengthen students' character, numeracy and literacy. Scientific literacy is considered as one of the things that allows students to be aware of scientific phenomena. The level of students' scientific literacy abilities is sufficient but there is still a need to develop teaching materials that are able to support scientific literacy. Therefore, it is necessary to develop teaching materials in the form of student worksheets based on socio-scientific issues. The aim of this research is to explain the level of validity of student worksheets based on socio-scientific issues on the theme of the dangers of smoking. The development model used is Four-D according to Thiagarajan. However, in this research only 3 stages were carried out, namely define, design and development. The validation results carried out with material expert lecturers were 88.97% with a very valid category. The validation results carried out with media expert lecturers were 87.5% with a very valid category. Meanwhile, the assessment obtained from the validation of expert practitioners (science teachers) was 90.42% in the very valid category. The overall validation results recapitulation was 88.96% with a very valid category, so that the LKPD products that had been developed could be tested on students.

Additional Information: Pada abad 21 ini dikenal sebagai abad pengetahuan yang merupakan landasan utama dalam kehidupan. Pada tahun 2022 pemerintah memberlakukan kurikulum merdeka untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah yaitu diadakan asesmen kompetensi minimum. Kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk menguatkan karakter, numerasi dan literasi peserta didik. Literasi sains dianggap sebagai salah satu hal yang memungkinkan peserta didik sadar akan fenomena ilmiah. Tingkat kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik sudah cukup namun masih perlu untuk mngembangkan bahan ajar yang mampu mendukung literasi sains. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan pengembangan bahan ajar berupa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis socio-scientific issues. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menjelaskan tingkat kevalidan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis socio-scientific issues tema bahaya merokok. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu Four-D menurut Thiagarajan. Namun, dalam penelitian ini hanya dilakukan 3 tahapan yaitu define, design dan development. Hasil validasi yang dilakukan dengan dosen ahli materi yaitu sebesar 88, 97% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil validasi yang dilakukan dengan dosen ahli media yaitu sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori sangat valid. Sedangkan penilaian yang didapatkan dari validasi ahli praktisi (guru IPA) yaitu sebesar 90,42% dengan kategori sangat valid. Rekapitulasi hasil validasi secara keseluruhan sebesar 88,96% dengan kategori sangat valid, sehingga produk LKPD yang telah dikembangkan dapat diuji cobakan kepada peserta didik.
