Abstract

ABSTRACT Nuriah. 7772143344. The Relation between Knowledge of Management Class and Supervision of School Principal with Teacher Performance at Islamic Elementary School Serpong. Thesis. Postgraduate of Study Program Learning Technology. Concentration of Education Management University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. 2016. Teacher is one of the learning resources that determine the success of students in the educational process at school. Teachers play a role carry out their duties competently and professionally. Lack of knowledge about the subject matter or teaching and learning activities are usually shown with teacher performance. Improved performance of teachers will have an effect on improving the quality of human resource output is generated in the process of education and learning in schools. The purpose of this research is to determine: 1) the relation between knowledge of management class (X1) with teachers performance (Y); 2) the relation between supervision of school principal (X2) with the teachers performance (Y); and 3) the relation between knowledge of management class and the relationship of knowledge management classes (X1) and supervision of school principal (X2) with teacher's performance (Y). This research used quantitative research methods, the type of survey with the correlational approach. The population in this researc are 130 teachers from Islamic elementary school Serpong subdistrict, by using simple random sampling technique, with precision of 10% with a sample of 97 130 teachers from Islamic elementary school, collecting data using questionnaires. The results of research showed: 1) there is a relation between X1 and Y with the value of the correlation (r xy) = 0.360 and Ftest = 14.252 with p-value = 0.000 <0.05; 2) there is a relations between X2 and Y with the value of the correlation (r xy) of F = 0.997 and 1.766 with a p-value = 0.000 <0.05; and 3) there is a relation between X1 and X2 with Y to the value of F = 8.737, and p-value 0.000 <0.05. The conclusions of this research are all independent variables such as knowledge of management class and supervision of school principal has a relation with the teacher's performance either simultaneously or partially. The suggestions for teachers in order to produce a good performance, in order to further enhance the knowledge of classroom management through teacher training, discussion, etc, and the principals have to optimize its role as a supervisor in the case of supervision to support the teacher's performance. Ketidakpahaman tentang materi pelajaran atau kegiatan belajar mengajar biasanya ditunjukan dengan bentuk kinerja guru. Peningkatan kinerja guru akan berpengaruh pada peningkatan kualitas output sumber daya manusia yang dihasilkan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) hubungan Pengatahuan manajemen kelas (X1) dengan kinerja guru (Y); 2) supervisi kepala sekolah (X2) dengan kinerja guru (Y); dan 3) hubungan pengetahuan manajemen kelas (X1) dan supervisi kepala sekolah (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, jenis penelitian survey dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini 130 guru SD Islam se- Kecamatan Serpong, menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, presisi 10% dengan jumlah sampel 97 guru SD Islam, pengumpul data menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) terdapat hubungan antara X1 dan Y dengan nilai korelasi (rxy)= 0,360 dan Fhitung = 14,252 dengan p-value=0,000<0,05; 2) terdapat hubungan antara X2 dan Y dengan nilai korelasi (rxy) 0,997 dan Fhitung =1,766 dengan p-value =0,000<0,05; dan 3) terdapat hubungan antara X1 dan X2 secara bersama-sama dengan Y dengan nilai Fhitung = 8,737, dan p-value 0,000< 0,05. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah seluruh variabel bebas yaitu pengetahuan manajemen sekolah dan supervisi kepala sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja guru baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Saran bagi guru dalam rangka menghasilkan kinerja yang baik, agar lebih meningkatkan pengetahuan manajemen kelas melalui diklat guru, pelatihan dll, dan bagi kepala sekolah perlu mengoptimalkan perannya sebagai supervisor dalam hal melakukan supervisi guna mendukung kinerja guru.
