Abstract

PKBM readiness is a condition where PKBM is ready to implement the independent curriculum. This research aims to describe (1) PKBM strategies in implementing the independent curriculum (2) Readiness of tutors in implementing the independent curriculum (3) PKBM challenges in implementing the independent curriculum in the equality education program at PKBM Kartini, Bogor City. The approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques and guidelines used are observation, interviews, documentation studies and literature studies. The data source for this research consists of 10 informants, namely 1 head of PKBM, 1 person from the curriculum section, 4 Package B tutors and 4 Package C tutors. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it shows that: (1) The strategy implemented by PKBM in implementing the independent curriculum, namely by going through training stages, holding discussion forums, collaborating with other schools through learning communities, and modifying interesting teaching materials (2) Tutors have readiness in terms of utilizing learning resources and assessing the independent curriculum, but tutors do not yet have readiness thoroughly in understanding the independent curriculum and the learning process (3) Challenges faced by PKBM are lack of information and understanding of tutors, inadequate infrastructure to implement independent curriculum learning, challenges in creating teaching tools according to the characteristics and needs of diverse students and challenges in regarding the quality of human resources, namely tutors do not yet have independent curriculum competencies.

Additional Information: Kesiapan PKBM merupakan kondisi PKBM yang sudah siap untuk mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) Strategi PKBM dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka (2) Kesiapan tutor dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka (3) tantangan PKBM dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka pada program pendidikan kesetaraan di PKBM Kartini Kota Bogor. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun teknik dan pedoman pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, studi dokumntasi dan studi literatur. Sumber data penelitian ini terdiri dari 10 informan, yaitu 1 orang kepala PKBM, 1 orang bagian kurikulum, 4 orang tutor Paket B dan 4 orang tutor Paket C. berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Strategi yang dilakukan oleh PKBM dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka yaitu dengan melalui tahap mengikuti pelatihan, mengadakan forum diskusi, bekerja sama dengan sekolah lain melalui komunitas belajar, dan memodifikasi bahan ajar yang menarik (2) Tutor memiliki kesiapan dalam hal pemanfaatan sumber belajar dan penilaian kurikulum merdeka, tetapi tutor belum memiliki kesiapan secara menyeluruh dalam memahami kurikulum merdeka dan proses pembelajaran (3) Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh PKBM yaitu kurangnya informasi dan pemahaman tutor, belum memadainya sarana prasarana untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka, tantangan dalam hal membuat perangkat ajar sesuai karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa yang beranekaragam dan tantangan dalam hal kualitas sumber daya manusia yaitu tutor belum memliki kompetensi kurikulum merdeka.
