Abstract

ABSTRACT iv This research aims to improving the result of IPA student with applyed learning model of cooperative type jigsaw the concept appliance respiration of human being and animal at class V SDN Pekalongan 1 Cilegon, and to know how students activities with applyed learning model of cooperative type jigsaw the concept appliance respiration of human being and animal at class V SDN Pekalongan 1 Cilegon. This research is about research of class action. The method used was developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart consisted of the planning, action, observation and reflection. The plane this research is because the assess of IPA student is lowering. This research is executed of two cycle/rotation. In this research, instrument used observation sheet, and tes written on the form of double helix problem. Student learn in two group that is group of team of origin and group of expert team. Result obtained from this research is the result of IPA student with applyed learning model of cooperative type jigsaw the concept appliance respiration of human being and animal is mounting with average value of student at final cycle I is 68,57by complete presentase about 65,71%, while at final cycle II that is reach 85,42 by complete presentase about 94,28%. Student activity with the applying learning model of cooperative type jigsaw is very good with the mean presentase 90%. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada konsep alat pernapasan manusia dan hewan kelas V SDN Pekalongan 1 Cilegon, dan mengetahui bagaimana aktivitas belajar siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada konsep alat pernapasan manusia dan hewan kelas V SDN Pekalongan 1 Cilegon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi atas dasar rendahnya nilai IPA siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan atas 2 siklus/putaran. Dalam penelitian ini, instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, dan tes tertulis berupa soal pilihan ganda. Siswa belajar dalam dua kelompok yaitu kelompok tim asal dan kelompok tim ahli. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar IPA siswa pada konsep alat pernapasan manusia dan hewan meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I yaitu mencapai 68,57 dengan presentase ketuntasan 65,71%, sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata mencapai 85,42 dengan presentase ketuntasan 94,28%. Aktivitas siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw sangat baik dengan rata-rata presentase sebesar 90% . Kata kunci : PTK, kooperatif, Jigsaw, alat pernapasan, hasil belajar.
