Abstract
This research is entitled “Analysis of Misconceptions of Class XI Students on Human Reproductive System Materials Using Modified Certainty of Response Index (CRI) ”. This research was conducted at SMAN 6 district of Tangerang in March-May 2024 with the aim of (1) to identify how misconception occurred in students of class XI of SMAN 6, district, on human reproductive system materials based on CRI methods. (2) find out what factor cause misconcepions in syudents on the material of the human reproductive system. This descriptive quantitative research with a population of students of class XI MIPA SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang, a sample of research is 35 students of class XI MIPA 2. The results of this survey were: (1) there was misconception in students of class XI SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang in each of the indicators on the material of the human reproductive system of 32.96%. The variety of misconceptions that occurred in students among them: structure and function of the reproductive organ system of human 20,40%, spermatogenesis and oogenesis 33.57%, disorders and abnormalities in the reproduktive system 32.85%, hormones and menstrual cycle 46.18% and fertilization and pregnancy 34.28%. the result of the interview and observations show that the factor that cause misconcepions in students are complicated material, low interest in learning, learning methods and media.

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang pada bulan Maret-Mei 2024 bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui bagaimana miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia berdasarkan metode CRI. (2) mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan miskonsepsi pada peserta didik pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia. Penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif ini dengan populasi peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang, sampel penelitian yaitu kelas XI MIPA 2 berjumlah 35 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa terdapat miskonsepsi pada peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang dalam tiap-tiap indikator pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia sebesar 32,96%. Ragam miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada peserta didik diantaranya: struktur dan fungsi sistem organ reproduksi manusia 20,40%, spermatogenesis dan oogenesis 33,57%, gangguan dan kelainan pada sistem reproduksi 32,85%, hormon dan siklus menstruasi 46,18% serta fertilisasi dan kehamilan 34,28%. Hasil wawancara dan observasi menunjukan bahwa faktor penyebab miskonsepsi pada peserta didik adalah materi yang rumit, minat belajar yang rendah, metode dan media pembelajaran. | |||||||||
