Abstract
Lontar Fishing Port (FP) is located in the north of Serang Regency, precisely in Lontar Village, Tirtayasa Sub-district. FP Lontar is the base of fishing activities for vessels operating in the Northern Waters of Serang Regency and the Java Sea. The type of fishing gear that lands fish caught at FP Lontar is a 1-layer gillnet, also known as a bottom gillnet. This study aims to determine the feasibility level of bottom gillnet fishery business based in FP Lontar. The method used in this research is a case study method carried out in December 2023 - January 2024, located at FP Lontar Banten Province. The aspects studied consisted of technical and economic aspects. In this study using purposive sampling method, with data analysis used Payback Period, Return On Investment, Net Present Value, profit. The results of this study indicate that the bottom gillnet fishery business based on FP Lontar Banten Province is feasible to develop because it has a profit of Rp. 65,647,000 and a relatively short investment return period (5 months), ROI value of 85%. The NPV value is positive and has an income per trip that is able to become the operating capital for the next trip, so the rampus net fishery at FP Lontar is feasible. | Additional Information: | Pelabuhan Perikanan (PP) Lontar terletak di Utara Kabupaten Serang, tepatnya di Desa Lontar Kecamatan Tirtayasa. PP Lontar menjadi basis kegiatan penangkapan ikan bagi kapal-kapal yang beroperasi di Perairan Utara Kabupaten Serang dan Laut Jawa. Jenis alat tangkap yang mendaratkan ikan hasil tangkapan di PP Lontar adalah jaring insang (gillnet) 1 lapis atau dikenal juga dengan nama jaring rampus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan usaha perikanan jaring rampus yang berbasis di PP Lontar. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2023 – Januari 2024, bertempat di PP Lontar Provinsi Banten. Aspek yang diteliti terdiri dari aspek teknis dan ekonomis. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dengan analisis data yang digunakan Payback Period, Return On Invesment, Net Present Value, keuntungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha perikanan jaring rampus yang berbasis di PP Lontar Provinsi Banten layak untuk dikembangkan karena memiliki keuntungan sebesar Rp. 65.647.000 dan masa pengembalian investasi yang relatif singkat (5 bulan), nilai ROI sebesar 85%. Nilai NPV yang positif dan memiliki pendapatan per tripnya mampu untuk menjadi modal pengoperasian trip berikutnya, sehingga usaha perikanan jaring rampus di PP Lontar layak untuk diusahakan.
