Abstract
This research is based on the low collaboration skills of students in science learning, where students are still not active in learning and group discussions, as they rely solely on the teacher's explanations. Based on the problem analysis, a snakes and ladders game media with TGT (Teams-Games-Tournaments) stages with the theme "Let's Save Electricity" was developed. This research aims to determine the validity level of the snakes and ladders game media with TGT stages on the theme of saving electricity to facilitate the collaborative skills of 9th-grade junior high school students. The research method used is the Research & Development (R&D) method. By using the 4D development model from Thiagarajan, only three stages were implemented: definition, design, and development in the validity test. Instruments used for validity testing are expert and practitioner validation questionnaires. Data analysis is done descriptively both quantitatively and qualitatively. The research results show that the overall value based on the average percentage from content experts, media experts, and practitioners is 92.92%, categorized as "Very Valid." This indicates that the snakes and ladders game media with the TGT stages on the theme of "Let's Save Electricity" can be declared highly valid for facilitating collaboration skills in ninth grade junior high school students. This is because it aligns with the TGT stages and collaboration skills indicators, making it an alternative to be further tested in the dissemination stage.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini didasari dari rendahnya keterampilan kolaborasi siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA yaitu peserta didik yang masih kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran dan berdiskusi kelompok karena bergantung pada penjelasan guru saja. Berdasarkan analisis masalah maka dikembangkanlah media permainan ular tangga dengan tahapan TGT tema ayo hemat listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan tingkat kevalidan media permainan ular tangga dengan tahapan TGT tema ayo hemat listrik untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan kolaborasi siswa SMP kelas IX. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian Research & Development (R&D). Dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D dari Thiagarajan hanya dilaksanakan sampai 3 tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop) pada uji kevalidan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk uji kevalidan yaitu lembar angket validasi ahli dan praktisi. Analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keseluruhan berdasarkan persentase rata-rata dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi yaitu sebesar 92,92 % dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media permainan ular tangga dengan tahapan TGT tema ayo hemat listrik dapat dinyatakan sangat valid untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan kolaborasi siswa SMP kelas IX, karena sesuai dengan tahapan TGT dan indikator keterampilan kolaborasi, sehingga menjadi alternatif untuk diujicobakan lebih lanjut pada tahap disseminate. | |||||||||
