Abstract

Uncontrolled use of groundwater causes scarcity problems to get worse. One way to control it is to use artificial groundwater recharge. Groundwater recharge often increases, causing the potential for water entering the aquifer to be of poor quality compared to original groundwater. So it is necessary to explain the quality of water with standard drinking water standards so that drinking water is safe and used for other purposes with the same water quality requirements as drinking water. This research aims to determine the quality of ground air, roof air runoff, and surface air runoff in the Metro Villa Complex area using the NSF-WQI method to obtain an air quality index map. The results of this study show that ground air quality has an NSF-WQI value of 56.97 and roof air runoff quality has an NSF-WQI value of 58.93 which is inCl-uded in the medium criteria. Meanwhile, the quality of surface runoff water has an NSF-WQI value of 46.63, which is considered poor criteria. Based on the air quality index map for roof air runoff, only Rawa Arum Village received good criteria with an NSF-WQI value of 71.48. The surface runoff water quality index in each sub-district did not receive good criteria, however Rawa Arum Sub-District received moderate criteria and had an NSF-WQI value of 53.23.

Additional Information: Penggunaan air tanah yang tidak terkendali menyebabkan masalah kelangkaan semakin parah. Salah satu cara pengendaliannya adalah dengan menggunakan pengisian ulang air tanah buatan. Pengisian ulang air tanah seringkali peningkatannya menyebabkan potensi air yang masuk ke dalam akuifer memiliki kualitas yang buruk dibandingkan dengan air tanah asli. Sehingga perlu dianalisis kualitas air dengan standar baku air minum agar aman air minum dan digunakan untuk yang lainnya dengan persyaratan mutu air yang sama seperti air minum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas air tanah, air limpasan atap, dan air limpasan permukaan pada wilayah Komplek Metro Villa dengan menggunakan metode NSF-WQI untuk mendapatkan peta indeks kualitas air. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kualitas air tanah memiliki nilai NSF-WQI 56,97 dan kualitas air limpasan atap memiliki nilai NSF-WQI 58,93 yang termasuk kriteria sedang. Sedangkan kualitas air limpasan permukaan memiliki nilai NSF-WQI 46,63 yang termasuk kriteria buruk. Berdasarkan peta indeks kualitas air untuk air limpasan atap hanya Kelurahan Rawa Arum yang mendapatkan kriteria baik dengan nilai NSF-WQI sebesar 71,48. Indeks kualitas air limpasan permukaan pada tiap kelurahan tidak ada yang mendapatkan kriteria baik, namun Kelurahan Rawa Arum mendapatkan kriteria sedang dan memiliki nilai NSF-WQI sebesar 53,23.
