Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisa proses pemberian permohonan kredit, faktor penyebab terjadinya kredit bermasalah serta efektivitas peran account officer dalam menekan kredit bermasalah pada Bank BJB Kantor Cabang Khusus Banten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dan metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan kepustakaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis dan mengolah data-data yang terkumpul adalah analisis kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses analisis pemberian kredit di Bank BJB Kantor Cabang Khusus Banten sudah dilakukan dengan hati-hati menggunakan prinsip analisis 5C. Dan ditemukan beberapa faktor internal dan eksternal yang menyebabkan kredit bermasalah : Faktor internal seperti penggunaan fasilitas kredit dominan untuk konsumtif, penurunan pendapatan akibat idisipliner pegawai, PHK, pensiun dini, penurunan usaha nasabah, dan kurang telitinya account officer dalam melakukan analisis kredit awal, faktor eksternal meliputi kebijakan pemerintah, perkembangan teknologi, dan bencana alam. Hal tersebut dapat di atasi dengan cukup baik oleh Bank BJB Kantor Cabang Khusus Banten.

Additional Information: | This study aims to explain and analyze the process of granting credit applications, factors causing non-performing loans and the effectiveness of the role of account officers in reducing non-performing loans at Bank BJB Kantor Cabang Khusus Banten. The research method used is descriptive research. The data source used is secondary data and the data collection method is done through observation, documentation, and literature. The method used in analyzing and processing the collected data is qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the credit granting analysis process at Bank BJB Kantor Cabang Khusus Banten has been carried out carefully using the 5C analysis principle. And there are several internal and external factors that cause non-performing loans: Internal factors such as the use of credit facilities predominantly for consumptive purposes, decreased income due to employee idiscipline, layoffs, early retirement, decreased customer business, and less thorough account officers in conducting initial credit analysis, external factors include government policies, technological developments, and natural disasters. This can be overcome quite well by Bank BJB Kantor Cabang Khusus Banten. | |||||||||
