Abstract
This research is motivated by the lack of use of learning media, especially audiovisual-based media which is more interesting, so that students experience difficulties in understanding material on the theme of limbs and the lack of creative thinking skills in class VIII students. The aim of this research is to develop learning media based on video animation and to find out the level of efficiency. The method used is research and development (Research and Development) adapted from the development model according to Borg and Gall. The research instruments used in this study were interviews and validation sheets. Animated video-based learning media was developed by exploring potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, product revision. The results showed that the validity level of the animated video on the theme of limbs to foster creative thinking skills in class VIII students was 92.6% with a very valid category. The result of the efficiency of the animated video is 76.45% with a valid category so that it can be used for the learning process, this result states that this animated video is efficient for use in learning.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran khususnya media berbasis audiovisual yang lebih menarik, sehingga peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi pada tema anggota tubuh serta masih kurangnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas VIII. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi dan mengetahui tingkat efisiensinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan menurut Borg and Gall. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan lembar validasi. Media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi dikembangkan dengan langkah-langkah menggali potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan video animasi tema anggota tubuh untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada peserta didik kelas VIII sebesar 92,6% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil efisiensi video animasi sebesar 76,45% dengan kategori valid sehingga dapat digunakan untuk proses pembelajaran, hasil ini menyatakan bahwa video animasi ini efisien untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. | |||||||||
