Abstract

The research method used is quantitative research to collect data which will then be analyzed statistically. The type of research used is ex post facto which aims to trace back the causes that allow an event to occur. The type of ex post facto used is Causal Research or co-relational (or causal) relating to the preliminary identification of current conditions. And to determine the influence of the variables studied, namely vocational competence, internship experience, and employability skills on work readiness. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and questionnaires. The validity test uses Pearson Product Moment, and the reliability test uses Cronbach Alpha with the test results for each instrument being reliable with a number >0.8. The subjects in this research were class XII TITL State Vocational School students in Kab. Bekasi with a sample size of 173. The data analysis techniques used are the classical assumption test, descriptive analysis, simple linear regression test and multiple linear regression test. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was found that students' vocational competence, internship experience, employability skills and work readiness were in the medium category. Then, to test the hypothesis, it was found that vocational competency had a positive and significant effect on work readiness; internship experience has a positive and significant effect on work readiness; employability skills have a positive and significant effect on work readiness; vocational competence and internship experience have a positive and significant effect simultaneously (together) on work readiness by 57.7%; vocational competence and employability skills have a positive and significant effect simultaneously (together) on work readiness by 71.8%; internship experience and employability skills have a positive and significant effect simultaneously (together) on work readiness by 70.7%; there is a positive and significant influence simultaneously (together) of the three independent variables on the dependent variable by 72% and the rest is influenced by other factors.

Additional Information: Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif untuk mengumpulkan data yang kemudian akan dianalisis secara statistik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu ex post facto yang bertujuan untuk menelusuri kembali penyebab yang memungkinkan suatu peristiwa terjadi. Jenis ex post facto yang digunakan yaitu Causal Research atau co-relasional (atau kausal) berkaitan dengan identifikasi pendahuluan dari kondisi saat ini. Dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara variabel yang diteliti yaitu kompetensi kejuruan, pengalaman prakerin, dan employability skills terhadap kesiapan kerja. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner (angket). Adapun pengujian validitas menggunakan Pearson Product Moment, dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach Alpha dengan hasil uji pada setiap instrumen reliabel dengan angka >0,8. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XII TITL SMK Negeri di Kab. Bekasi dengan jumlah sampel 173. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji asumsi klasik, analisis deskriptif, uji regresi linier sederhana dan uji regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh kompetensi kejuruan, pengalaman prakerin, employability skills, dan kesiapan kerja siswa dalam kategori sedang. Kemudian untuk uji hipotesis didapatkan hasil kompetensi kejuruan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja; pengalaman prakerin berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja; employability skills berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja; kompetensi kejuruan dan pengalaman prakerin berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan (bersama-sama) terhadap kesiapan kerja sebesar 57,7%; kompetensi kejuruan dan employability skills berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan (bersama-sama) terhadap kesiapan kerja sebesar 71,8%; pengalaman prakerin dan employability skills berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan (bersama-sama) terhadap kesiapan kerja sebesar 70,7%; terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan (bersama-sama) ketiga variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen sebesar 72% dan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain.
