Abstract

This research was motivated by indications that the learning and innovation skills (LIS) 4C abilities of prospective vocational teacher students were low. This research aims to measure the LIS 4C abilities of prospective vocational teachers at one of the universities in Banten. The research uses a quantitative survey method. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling, using the Slovin formula to obtain a sample of 71 mechanical engineering vocational teacher candidates. The data collection technique uses a 4 Likert scale questionnaire which is valid and reliable. Validity testing was carried out using construct validity and reliability testing using Cronbach's alpha. Based on the results of data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis, it is known that 42.3% of students are still in the low category in critical thinking. As many as 43.66% of students are still in the low category in the aspect of creative thinking, and as many as 40.85% of students are still in the low category in the collaboration aspect. As many as 43.66% of students are still in the low category in the communication aspect. Based on the low levels of these four variables, it can be concluded that the 4C learning and innovation skills (LIS) of prospective vocational teacher students are in the low category. Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya indikasi bahwa kemampuan learning and innovation skills (LIS) 4C mahasiswa calon guru kejuruan rendah. Tujuan adanya penelitian ini yakni untuk mengukur kemampuan LIS 4C calon guru kejuruan di salah satu universitas di Banten. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik sampling menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling, dengan rumus slovin diperoleh sampel sebanyak 71 mahasiswa calon guru kejuruan teknik mesin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala likert 4 yang telah valid dan reliabel. Uji validitas dilakukan menggunakan construct validity dan uji reabilitas menggunakan alpha Cronbach. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif diketahui bahwa sebanyak 42,3% mahasiswa masih berkategori rendah dalam aspek berfikir kritis. Sebanyak 43,66% mahasiswa masih berkategori rendah dalam aspek berfikir kreatif, sebanyak 40,85% mahasiswa masih berkategori rendah dalam aspek kolaborasi dan sebanyak 43,66% mahasiswa masih berkategori rendah dalam aspek komunikasi. Berdasarkan rendahnya keempat variabel tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan learning and innovation skills (LIS) 4C mahasiswa calon guru kejuruan berada pada kategori rendah.
