Abstract
This research aims to find out the correlation between the critical thinking ability and environmental awarness through photography projects in the subtopics of environmental pollution. This research used the correlational method which was presented in the descriptive form. It was conducted in March 2018 at SMAN 1 Kota Serang. The population of this research involved all of the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Kota Serang by conducting 38 students of X MIPA 6 as a sample. Based on the results, it showed that the value of correlation coefficient releaved 0.503 which showed that there has a strong positive correlation between critical thinking abilitiy with environmental awarness through photography projects in subtopics of environmental pollution at the tenth grade of SMA 1 Kota Serang. Therefore, the increase or decrease in the value of critical thinking ability will contribute sufficiently for the increase or decrease of environmental awarness. In the regression test results, it was obtained that the equation Ŷ = 51,756 + 0,376 X. The coefficient of determination (R ) result, shows that the critical thinking ability contributed of 25.3% to the increase and decrease of the students environmental awarness.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan sikap peduli lingkungan melalui proyek fotografi pada subtopik pencemaran lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu korelasional yang disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian pada bulan Maret 2018 di SMAN 1 Kota Serang. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Kota Serang dengan sampel kelas X MIPA 6 yang berjumlah 38 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, memperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,503 yang menunjukan adanya korelasi positif yang cukup kuat antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan sikap peduli lingkungan melalui proyek fotografi pada subtopik pencemaran lingkungan kelas X SMAN 1 Kota Serang, sehingga kenaikan atau penurunan nilai kemampuan berpikir kritis akan cukup memberi kontribusi terhadap kenaikan atau penurunan sikap peduli lingkungan. Pada hasil uji regresi didapatkan persamaan Ŷ = 51,756 + 0,376 X. Hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi (R ) menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis memberikan kontribusi sebesar 25,3% terhadap kenaikan maupun penurunan dari sikap peduli lingkungan siswa. | |||||||||
