Abstract
This research aims to determine the use of the discovery learning model to improve the collaboration and critical thinking skills of students at SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research with a post-test only control group research design. The research population was all class 12 students at SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari and samples were taken using purposive sampling technique consisting of two classes, namely class 12 Science 1 as the experimental class and class XII Science 2 as the control class. The instruments used to collect data were critical thinking test questions, collaboration skills questionnaires and learning implementation observation sheets. The results of the t test on critical thinking skills obtained a significance value of 0.01˂0,05 indicating that there were differences in critical thinking skills in the experimental class and the control class. Meanwhile, the results of the t test on collaboration obtained a significance value of 0.02˂0,05, indicating that there were differences in collaboration between the experimental class and the control class. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the discovery learning model can improve the collaboration and critical thinking skills of students at SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penggunaan Model Discovery Laearning untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Kolaborasi dan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik di SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari dan sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari 2 kelas, yaitu kelas XII IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XII IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah soal tes berpikir kritis, angket keterampilan kolaborasi dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil uji t pada keterampilan berpikir kritis diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,01<0,05 menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji t pada kolaborasi diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,02˂0,05 menunjukan bahwa adanya perbedaan pada kolaborasi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penggunaan Model Discovery Learning dapat Meningkatkan Keterampilan Kolaborasi dan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik di SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari. | |||||||||
