Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Leraning learning model on the critical thinking skills of grade XI science students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari. This research is a quasi-experimental research or pseudo-experiment that uses a pretest posttest control group design. Problem Based Learning learning model as an independent variable and critical thinking skills as a dependent variable. The population in this study is all grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample of this study consists of two classes, namely class XI IPA I as a control class and class XI IPA II as an experimental class. The sampling technique is carried out by porpusive sampling. Data collection techniques use description and non-test questions (interviews). Data analysis techniques using t-tests (t-tests) to test hypotheses. The results of the hypothesis test of the influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' critical thinking skills obtained a significance value of 0,000. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on students' critical thinking skills on the nervous system sub-material.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Leraning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang menggunakan desain penelitian pretest posttest control group design. Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning sebagai variabel bebas dan keterampilan berpikir kritis sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas XI IPA I sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPA II sebagai kelas ekperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara porpusive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes soal uraian dan non tes (wawancara). Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji t (t-test) untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil uji hipotesis pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000.
