Abstract

This research is based on the problem of science learning media in junior high schools which are still not used by teachers, causing students' interest in learning to not be facilitated properly. Based on the problem analysis, flashcard learning media was developed on the classification of living things to facilitate students' learning interest. This research aims to determine the level of validity and readability of flashcard learning media on the classification of living things to facilitate students' interest in learning. The research method used is the Research & Development (R&D) research method. Using the ADDIE development model from Robert Maribe Branch which is only carried out in 3 stages, namely the analysis, design and development stages in the readability test. The instrument used to test the level of validity is an expert and practitioner validation questionnaire sheet. The instrument used for the readability test is the readability test questionnaire sheet. Analyze the data descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The research results show that the overall score based on the average percentage of material experts, media experts and practitioners is 80.36% in the "Valid" category. Shows that the flashcard learning media on the classification of living things is declared valid to facilitate class VII junior high school students' interest in learning. The readability test results obtained a percentage of 87.06% in the "Good" category. This states that the flashcard learning media on the classification of living things is declared good because it has been accepted by students.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini didasari pada permasalahan mengenai media pembelajaran IPA di sekolah SMP yang masih belum digunakan oleh guru sehingga menyebabkan minat belajar siswa tidak terfasilitasi dengan baik. Berdasarkan analisis masalah maka dikembangkan media pembelajaran flashcard pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup untuk memfasilitasi minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas dan tingkat keterbacaan terhadap media pembelajaran flashcard pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup untuk memfasilitasi minat belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian Research & Development (R&D). Menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dari Robert Maribe Branch yang hanya dilaksanakan sampai 3 tahap yaitu tahap analisis (analyze), desain (design), dan pengembangan (development) pada uji keterbacaan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk uji tingkat validitas yaitu lembar angket validasi ahli dan praktisi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk uji keterbacaan yaitu lembar angket uji keterbacaan. Analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keseluruhan berdasarkan persentase rata-rata dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi yaitu sebesar 80,36% dengan kategori "Valid". Menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran flashcard pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup dinyatakan valid untuk memfasilitasi minat belajar siswa SMP kelas VII. Hasil uji keterbacaan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 87,06% dengan kategori "Baik". Hal tersebut menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran flashcard pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup dinyatakan baik karena sudah mampu diterima oleh siswa.
