Abstract
SKh Negeri 02 Lebak is an educational institution that provides educational services with the purpose of developing children with special needs from TKLB – SMALB level. The aim of learning for ABK is to become independent. Special school education cannot be separated from the role of a teacher who requires standards to fulfill the teacher's obligations. Apart from the obligations that must be fulfilled, teachers at SKh Negeri 02 Lebak also have additional duties that must be carried out. This can increase the workload due to the level of effort and performance expended. Therefore, it is necessary to measure mental workload as a step to find out and minimize mental workload at SKh Negeri 02 Lebak. Measurement of mental workload was carried out using the RSME and MCH methods, a subjective mental workload measurement. The results of this study show that the mental workload using the RSME method by ASN and non-ASN teachers is quite large, while the activity with the highest mental workload using the MCH method for ASN teachers is activity 5 and non-ASN is activities 1 to 5, and the results of the Difference Test show that employee status does not show a different level of workload. Suggestions for minimizing mental workload are conducting training, creating team collaboration, regular evaluation, and dividing tasks.

| Additional Information: | SKh Negeri 02 Lebak merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang memberikan layanan pendidikan dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan anak berkebutuhan khusus dari tingkat TKLB – SMALB. Tujuan pembelajaran untuk ABK adalah agar anak tersebut menjadi mandiri. Pendidikan sekolah khusus tidak lepas dari peran seorang guru yang membutuhkan standar untuk memenuhi kewajiban guru. Selain kewajiban yang harus dipenuhi, guru di SKh Negeri 02 Lebak juga memiliki tugas tambahan yang harus dilakukan. Hal ini dapat menambah beban kerja karena tingkat usaha dan performansi yang dikeluarkan. Maka dari itu, diperlukan pengukuran beban kerja mental sebagai langkah untuk mengetahui dan minimalisir beban kerja mental di SKh Negeri 02 Lebak. Pengukuran beban kerja mental dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode RSME dan MCH, yaitu pengukuran beban kerja mental secara subjektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja mental yang dirasakan menggunakan metode RSME oleh guru ASN dan non-ASN berkategori cukup besar, sedangkan aktivitas dengan beban kerja mental tertinggi menggunakan metode MCH pada guru ASN adalah aktivitas 5 dan non-ASN adalah aktivitas 1 hingga 5, dan hasil Uji Beda menunjukan status pegawai tidak menunjukkan tingkat perbedaan beban kerja. Usulan untuk minimalisir beban kerja mental adalah melakukan pelatihan, membuat kolaborasi tim, evaluasi berkala, dan membagi tugas. | |||||||||
