Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the dose of goat manure fertilizer and NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of sweet corn plants (zea mays subsp. mays L.). This research used a two-factorial Randomized Block Design with three replications. The first factor was goat manure fertilizer which consists of three levels, namely K1 : 8 t/ha (3.072 kg/plot), K2 : 10 t/ha (3.84 kg/plot), K3 : 12 t/ha (4.608 kg/plot). The second factor is a NPK fertilizer consisting of three levels, namely M1 : 250 kg/ha (0.096 kg/plot), M2 : 320 kg/ha (0.123 kg/plot), M3 : 400 kg/ha (0.154 kg/plot). This research has been carried out in the Integrated Agricultural System Area (SITANDU) located in Curug, Serang City, Prov. Banten from May to August 2023. The results of research on the use of goat manure fertilizer dose of 10 t/ha (3.84 kg/plot) have the best effect on plant height growth. NPK fertilizer with a dose of 320 kg/ha (0.123 kg/plot) has the best effect on plant height, stem base diameter, and number of cobs per plot. There was an inter-treatment of a combination dose of goat manure fertilizer and NPK fertilizer at a plant height parameter of 2 MST where the best yield was 24.19 cm.

Faktor pertama adalah pupuk kotoran kambing yang terdiri dari tiga taraf yaitu K1 : 8 t/ha (3,072 kg/petak), K2 : 10 t/ha (3,84 kg/petak), K3 : 12 t/ha (4,608 kg/petak). Faktor kedua adalah pupuk NPK yang terdiri dari tiga taraf yaitu M1 : 250 kg/ha (0,096 kg/petak), M2 : 320 kg/ha (0,123 kg/petak), M3 : 400 kg/ha (0,154 kg/petak). Hasil penelitian penggunaan pupuk kotoran kambing dosis 10 t/ha (3,84 kg/petak) memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman. Pupuk NPK seimbang dengan dosis 320 kg/ha (0,123 kg/petak) memberikan pengaruh paling baik terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter pangkal batang, dan jumlah tongkol per petak. Terdapat perlakuan antar kombinasi dosis pupuk kotoran kambing dan pupuk NPK pada parameter tinggi tanaman 2 MST dimana hasil terbaik adalah 24,19 cm.
