Abstract
This research focuses on the Effectiveness of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Improving the Economy of Village Communities in Cikolelet Tourism Village, Cinangka District. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective BUMDes is in improving the economy of rural communities. The theory used in this study is the theory of effectiveness according to Steers in (Tangkilisan, 2005) which consists of four indicators, namely indicators of organizational characteristics, environment, workers, and management. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research. The sampling technique used the slovin formula as many as 98 respondents. The results showed that the effectiveness of BUMDes in improving the village economy in Cikolelet Tourism Village was declared quite effective because based on the results of the hypothesis test, it obtained a value of 58% where the value was bigger than the results of the hypothesis determined by the researcher previously, namely 61% or tcount was smaller than ttable (-3,415 < -1,290) which means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. This is reinforced based on the results of interviews where it is known that BUMDes Cikolelet does not yet have a new management structure due to a lack of human resources who understand administration related to BUMDes, there is no cooperation with external parties, a lack of development and coaching of UMKM, and has not been able to withstand changes and there is no innovation for the development of BUMDes. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif BUMDes dalam meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori efektivitas menurut Steers dalam (Tangkilisan, 2005) yang terdiri dari empat indikator yaitu indikator karakteristik organisasi, lingkungan, pekerja, dan manajemen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin sebanyak 98 responden. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa efektivitas BUMDes dalam meningkatkan ekonomi desa di Desa Wisata Cikolelet dinyatakan cukup efektif karena berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis memperoleh nilai 58% dimana nilai tersebut lebih besar dibandingkan dengan hasil hipotesis yang ditentukan peneliti sebelumnya yaitu sebesar 61% atau thitung lebih kecil dari ttabel (-3,415 < -1,290) yang artinya hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak. Hal ini diperkuat berdasarkan hasil wawancara dimana diketahui BUMDes Cikolelet belum memiliki struktur kepengurusan yang baru karena kurangnya SDM yang paham secara administrasi terkait BUMDes, tidak terdapat kerja sama dengan pihak eksternal, kurangnya pengembangan dan pembinaan UMKM, dan belum mampu bertahan terhadap perubahan serta belum adanya inovasi untuk pengembangan BUMDes tersebut. | ||||||
