Abstract

Cyrtosperma sp. is a plant of the Araceae family. Cyrtosperma sp. is one of the potential ornamental plants. One way to increase flowering is by using growth regulators, one of which is gibberellin acid. The flowering of Cyrtosperma sp. ornamental plants is carried out in the hope of continuing generations of Cyrtosperma sp. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of GA3 concentration on the reproductive characteristics and flowering age of Cyrtosperma sp. Flowers are the most important part of a plant that requires the reproduction of plants, so it is necessary to increase the occurrence of flowering efficiently so that it can improve and reproduce offspring if the flower can produce pollen so that pollination success occurs. This experiment was conducted in a greenhouse with 60% paranet, Dramaga, PT Benih Sumber Andalan from November 2023 to January 2024. The GA3 concentrations used were 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 ppm. The experiment was repeated 4 times with 8 plants at each concentration. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of GA3 application on Flower Emergence Time, Flowering Plant Age, Flower Blooming Time, Flower Receptive Time, Flower Anthesis Time, Spatha Stalk Length, and Spatha Length. GA3 has a significant effect at a concentration of 600 ppm with the fastest average time to appear flowers at 45 days after GA3 application, flowering plant age at 255 days, flower bloom time 2 days, flower receptive time 4 days after flower bloom time , and anthesis time at 1 days after flowers reseptive time.

Additional Information: Cyrtosperma sp. adalah tanaman dari famili Araceae. Tanaman Cyrtosperma sp. merupakan salah satu tanaman hias potensial daun. Salah satu cara meningkatkan pembungaan yaitu dengan penggunaan zat pengatur tumbuh, salah satu nya yaitu Giberelin Acid. Pembungaan tanaman hias Cyrtosperma sp. dilakukan dengan harapan meneruskan generasi ke generasi tanaman Cyrtosperma sp. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh konsentrasi GA3 terhadap karakteristik reproduktif dan umur pembungaan tanaman Cyrtosperma sp. Bunga merupakan bagian terpenting dari suatu tanaman yang menghendaki terjadi nya reproduksi dari tanaman sehingga perlu peningkatan terjadinya pembungaan secara efisien dapat memperbaiki serta memperbanyak keturunan apabila bunga dapat menghasilkan suatu pollen sehingga terjadinya keberhasilan penyerbukan. Percobaan ini menggunakan naungan dengan paranet 60%, berlokasi di Dramaga, PT. Benih Sumber Andalan dari November 2023 hingga Januari 2024. Konsentrasi GA3 yang dipakai yaitu 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, dan 600 ppm. Percobaan ini diulang sebanyak 4 kali dengan 8 tanaman pada masing-masing konsentrasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh aplikasi GA3 secara signifikan pada Waktu Muncul Bunga, Umur Tanaman Berbunga, Waktu Mekar Bunga, Waktu Reseptif Bunga, Waktu Anthesis Bunga, Panjang Tangkai Spatha, dan Panjang Spatha. GA3 berpengaruh nyata pada konsentrasi 600 ppm dengan rata-rata waktu tercepat muncul bunga pada 45 hari dengan umur tanaman 255 hari setelah tanam, waktu mekar bunga berkisar 2 hari setelah muncul bunga, waktu reseptif bunga berkisar 4 hari setelah bunga mekar dan waktu anthesis berkisar 1 hari setelah reseptif bunga.
