Abstract
This study aims to determine the difference in the increase of cognitive learning outcomes, students using the Demonstration Method using Lecture Method. This research uses quasi experiment with research design nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted at SDN Kramatwatu 3 academic year 2016/2017. The sampling technique used is Purposive sampling. In this study, there are 30 students of class IVA as experiment class using Demonstration Method and IVB are 28 students as control class using Lecture Method. Data analysis techniques to test the hypothesis in this study using the t-test of normal and homogeneous data are: Based on the results of two-party hypothesis test obtained values -2.0042 ≤ 7.25 ≥ 2.0042, if - ttable ≤ tcount + ttable then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. While for one - party test obtained value -1.6736 ≤ 7.25 ≥ 1.6736, if - ttable ≤ tcal ≤ + ttabel then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted This means there is an increase difference between cognitive learning outcomes of students who use Demonstration Method with who use Method Lecture in other words student learning outcomes in the experimental class more improved compared with the control class.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif, siswa yang menggunakan Metode Demonstrasi dengan yang menggunakan Metode Ceramah. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Kramatwatu 3 tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan ialah Purposive sampling. Pada penelitian ini kelas IVA berjumlah 30 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan Metode Demonstrasi dan IVB berjumlah 28 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan Metode Ceramah. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t data normal dan homogen yaitu : Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis dua pihak diperoleh nilai -2,0042 ≤ 7,25 ≥ 2,0042, jika – ttabel ≤ thitung ≤ + ttabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sedangkan untuk uji satu pihak diperoleh nilai -1,6736 ≤ 7,25 ≥ 1,6736, jika – ttabel ≤ thitung ≤ + ttabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima Artinya terdapat perbedaan peningkatan antara hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang menggunakan Metode Demonstrasi dengan yang menggunakan Metode Ceramah dengan kata lain hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol | |||||||||
