Abstract
Tourism has a high enough to foreign exchange revenue country and by the government so that reason to pay attention to tourism sector. Much effort undertaken by governments to tourism sector development, one of them is the development and preservation of cultural heritage tourism destination Banten Lama conducted by Disbudpar Banten Province, but so far the condition of old banten not have infrastructure, facility inadequate. The purpose of this research is to know the strategic plan for the development and preservation of Banten Lama tourist destinations in the Disbudpar of Banten Province. The research on the theory of decline dotted aspects to note in strategic planning from Fred R David. We based the research used a qualitative explanatory approach is the method and technique of data collection is done through observation and interview study documentation. The validity of the data obtained by means of triangulation data. The result showed that the implementation of the strategic plan for the development and preservation of cultural heritage tourism destination Banten Lama yet either Disbudpar Banten Province just prioritized Banten Lama in the 2012-2017 renstra, but in its implementation since the 2012-2017 has been no activities towards the development of Banten Lama due to problems of leadhership, authority and budget issue. | Additional Information: | Pariwisata memiliki kontribusi yang cukup tinggi untuk perolehan devisa negara dan dengan alasan tersebut pemerintah begitu memperhatikan sektor wisata. Banyak usaha yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk pengembangan sektor wisata, salah satunya pengembangan dan pelestarian destinasi wisata cagar budaya Banten Lama yang dilakukan oleh Disbudpar Provinsi Banten, namun sampai saat ini kondisi Banten Lama belum memiliki infrastruktur, sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi rencana strategis pengembangan dan pelestarian destinasi wisata Banten Lama di Disbudpar Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini bertitik tolak pada teori Aspek-aspek yang perlu diperhatikan dalam perencanaan strategis dari Fred R David. Metodelogi penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah melalui observasi, Wawancara, dan Studi Dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperoleh dengan cara Triangulasi Data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi rencana strategis pengembangan dan pelestarian destinasi wisata cagar budaya Banten Lama belum baik, Disbudpar Provinsi Banten hanya memprioritaskan Banten Lama dalam renstra dinas 2012-2017, namun dalam pelaksanaannya sejak 2012- 2014 belum ada kegiatan kearah pengembangan Banten Lama karena masalah kepemimpinan, kewenangan dan masalah anggaran. Pengembangan Banten Lama oleh Disbudpar Provinsi Banten baru akan dilakukan pada tahun 2015 saja.
