Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on the ability to solve global warming problems at SMAN 2 Pandeglang. This type of research is pre-experimental with one group pretest and posttest design. The sample determination in this research was purposive sampling in class X-G at SMAN 2 Pandeglang with 30 students. The data collection method used was a test before carrying out Problem-based learning treatment (Pretest) and after carrying out problem-based learning (posttest). The data were analyzed by n-gain test and t-test. The results of the n-gain test analysis aim to determine the effectiveness of the treatment given. Based on the result of the n-gain test in class X-G SMAN 2 Pandeglang students, it was found that an average increase in the pretest and post-test scores was 28% and the n-gain value was 0,28 in the low category. Meanwhile, the results of the t-test analysis were obtained tcount > ttable= 5,244 > 2,048 This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence of problem-based learning on the ability to solve global warming problems at SMAN 2 Pandeglang.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre-Eksperimental design dengan desain one group pretest and posttest. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel purposive sampling pada kelas X-G SMAN 2 Pandeglang dengan 30 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes sebelum dilaksanakannya perlakuan problem based learning (pretest) dan tes sesudah dilaksanakannya perlakuan problem based learning (posttest). Data penelitian dianalisis dengan uji n-gain dan uji t . Hasil analisis uji n-gain bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas perlakuan yang diberikan. Berdasarkan hasil uji n-gain pada peserta didik kelas X-G diperoleh rata-rata peningkatan nilai pretest dan posttest sebanyak 28% dan diperoleh n-gain 0,28 dalam katagori rendah. Sedangkan hasil analisis uji t memperoleh thit > ttabel = 5,244 > 2,048. Hal ini berarti HO ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pemanasan global di SMAN 2 Pandeglang. | |||||||||
