Abstract
The research focuses on the results of the diffusion of iTangKab service innovations carried out by the Tangerang Regency Library and Archives Service. The problem studied in this research is the operation of the iTangKab innovation, such as a speech recognition tool that is not yet functional in several books. The dissemination of iTangKab information, especially on social media, is slow due to delays in procuring human resources. The community adoption process is also low due to the hampered spread of Covid-19. Disparities in the use of technology still exist in society. iTangKab is a service innovation in the form of a social media-based digital library application. The service transformation carried out by the Tangerang Regency Disperpusip is an effort to develop library services, so that libraries continue to exist in the era of digitalization and can fulfill the knowledge and information needed by the community. However, in order for the implementation goals of iTangKab to be achieved, an innovation diffusion process is needed so that the public can know and understand this innovation. This research uses the theory of diffusion of innovation by Everett M. Rogers (2003), namely: innovation, communication channels, time period, and social system. The research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results of this research show that the diffusion of iTangKab innovation has been carried out, but has not been maximized, especially due to its slow spread. This is because the diffusion of innovation is carried out only through social media and mass media in a small scope as well as interpersonal channels, namely direct socialization which has not yet reached the entire community. Then there is still low public awareness and there are no communicators to disseminate iTangKab information to the public. Suggestions from the Tangerang Regency Disperpusip need to pay attention again to be consistent and orderly in the dissemination of innovations that have been made and also to create an approach strategy to the community so that the goals of iTangKab can be realized.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian berfokus pada hasil difusi inovasi pelayanan iTangKab yang dilakukan Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kabupaten Tangerang. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengoperasian di dalam inovasi iTangKab, seperti alat pengenal ucapan yang belum berfungsi di beberapa buku. Penyebaran informasi iTangKab terutama di media sosial terbilang lambat karena keterlambatan pengadaan sumber daya manusia. Proses adopsi masyarakat juga rendah dikarenakan jangka waktu penyebaran terhambat Covid-19. Kesenjangan penggunaan teknologi masih terjadi dimasyarakat. iTangKab merupakan inovasi pelayanan berupa aplikasi perpustakaan digital berbasis media sosial. Transformasi pelayanan yang dilakukan Disperpusip Kabupaten Tangerang ini sebagai upaya pengembangan layanan perpustakaan, sehingga keberadaan perpustakaan tetap eksis di era digitalisasi dan dapat memenuhi ilmu dan informasi yang dibutuhkan masyarakat. Namun agar tujuan penerapan dari iTangKab dapat tercapai, diperlukan proses difusi inovasi agar masyarakat dapat mengetahui dan memahami inovasi ini. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori difusi inovasi oleh Everett M. Rogers (2003), yaitu: inovasi, saluran komunikasi, jangka waktu, dan sistem sosial. Metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan difusi inovasi iTangKab sudah dilakukan, tetetapi belum maksimal terutama dalam penyebarannya yang lambat. Hal tersebut dikarenakan difusi inovasi yang dilakukan hanya melalui media sosial dan media massa dalam lingkup kecil serta saluran interpersonal yaitu sosialisasi langsung yang belum menjangkau keseluruhan masyarakat. Lalu masih rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat dan belum adanya komunikator untuk melakukan penyebaran informasi iTangKab ke masyarakat. Saran Disperpusip Kabupaten Tangerang perlu memerhatikan kembali agar konsisten dan teratur dalam penyebaran inovasi yang telah dibuat serta juga menciptakan strategi pendekatan ke masyarakat sehingga tujuan dari iTangKab dapat terwujud. | |||||||||
