Abstract

This research aims to develop herbarium media based on Pteridophyta in the Curug Rame area. This research uses the RnD method with a 4D model. Pteridophyta sampling was carried out at 3 stations, namely the plantation area of resident 1 which was dominated by bushes and trees with dense tree canopy cover, the field area which was dominated by grass and trees with sparse canopy cover, and the plantation area of resident 2 which was dominated by shrubs and trees with canopy cover that is not too dense. There were 5 types of Pteridohyta species obtained, namely Adiantum latifolium (string fern), Taenitis blechnoides (balu fern), Christella dentata (small fern), Pyrrosia adnascens (petisan fern), and Davallia solida (rabbit's foot fern). The results of the Pteridophyta sampling were then used as herbarium media. The selection of herbarium media as learning media is based on the results of needs analysis, material analysis and CP analysis. The results of the herbarium product validation received a score of 95% on the herbarium indicator in the "very valid" category, and a score of 89% on the learning media indicator in the "valid" category.
