Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empirik faktor permasalahan guru pemula serta solusi apa saja yang diberikan oleh guru pemula, guna menunjang keberlangsungan guru profesional. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Adapun yang menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru pemula yang lokasi penelitiannya berada di SMKN 2 Kota Serang, SMKN 4 Kota Serang, SMKN 5 Kota Serang, dan SMKN 7 Kota Serang. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis data penelitian bahwa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru pemula otomotif kesulitan awal pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar di jurusan TKRO SMK Kota Serang, yaitu secara spesifik guru pemula belum menguasai beberapa kompetensi tertentu seperti kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial dan kepribadian. Serta hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi oleh kesulitan guru pemula otomotif awal pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar di jurusan teknik kendaraan ringan SMK Kota Serang seperti dapat di atasi melalui komunikasi dengan rekan kerja terutama guru senior atau guru yang ahli di bidang yang bersangkutan, dapat mengikuti pelatihan kompetensi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan yang berkaitan dengan keprofesian dan membiasakan menjadi manusia yang berbudi pekerti luhur (baik).

Additional Information: This study aims to empirically find out the problem factors of novice teachers and what solutions are given by novice teachers, in order to support the sustainability of professional teachers. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The informants in this research are novice teachers whose research locations are at SMKN 2 Kota Serang, SMKN 4 Serang City, SMKN 5 Serang City, and SMKN 7 Serang City. Based on the results of the research data analysis that the problems faced by automotive novice teachers are the initial difficulties in implementing the teaching and learning process in the TKRO department of SMK Serang City, namely specifically novice teachers have not mastered certain competencies such as pedagogical, professional, social and personality competencies. As well as the results of the analysis show that there are several strategies that can be used to overcome the problems faced by novice automotive teachers in the early implementation of the teaching and learning process in the light vehicle engineering department of SMK Serang City such as can be overcome through communication with colleagues, especially senior teachers or teachers who are experts in the field concerned, can take part in competency training to improve skills related to professionalism and familiarize themselves with being a human being of noble character (good).
