Abstract

The use of a wavy channel type battery cooling system is one of the effects of flow fragmentation on hydrothermal through experimental studies supported by modeling. The wavy channel battery cooling system has two working fluid channels to enter (inlet) and two channels to exit (outlet). The battery is The battery is to increase the mileage of electric vehicles. The working principle of a battery consists of 4 important parts: anode, cathode, electrolyte and separator. During the process of using electricity (discharge), electrons from the anode flow from the cathode through the connector cable, while the lithium-ions in the system escape from the anode due to a lack of electrons to pass through the electrolyte. During charging, electrons from the cathode flow to the anode through the connector cable. The aim of this research is to determine the battery temperature between those using air cooling and those without air cooling, to analyze the performance of the battery over the time it is charged to the lithium battery with different load variations with a cooler using air with variable volume flow rates of 5 lpm, 10 lpm, and 15 lpm. The battery cooling system is carried out with 3 variations of air pressure, namely 5 lpm, 10 lpm, 15 lpm. The results of the battery performance conditions of the wavy channel type cooling system were obtained from discharge variations, namely with 5 lpm air pressure of 0.1998, 10 lpm air pressure of 0.1838, 15 lpm air pressure of 0.2096, charge variations namely with 5 lpm air pressure of 0.1827, 10 lpm air pressure of 0.1854, and 15 lpm of air pressure of 0.2083.

Additional Information: Penggunaan sistem pendingin baterai tipe wavy channel adalah salah satu pengaruh fragmentasi aliran terhadap hidrotermal melalui studi eksperimental yang didukung oleh pemodelan. Sistem pendingin baterai wavy channel memiliki dua saluran fluida kerja untuk masuk (inlet) dan dua saluran keluar (outlet). Baterai adalah Baterai merupakan untuk meningkatkan jarak tempuh kendaraan listrik. Prinsip kerja baterai terdiri dari 4 bagian penting anoda, katoda, elektrolit dan sepator. Selama proses pemakaian listrik (Discharge) elektron dari anoda mengalir dari katoda melalui kabel konektor, sedangkan ion-lithium dalam sistem lepas dari anoda karena kekurangan elektron untuk melalui elektrolit. Selama pengisian (Charge), elektron dari katoda mengalir ke anoda melalui kabel konektor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui temperatur baterai antara yang menggunakan pendingin udara dan tanpa pendingin udara, menganalisis performa baterai terhadap waktu Discharge dan charge lithium baterai dengan pendingin yang menggunakan udara dengan variabel laju aliran volume sebesar 5 lpm, 10 lpm, dan 15 lpm. Sistem pendingin baterai dilakukan dengan jumlah 3 variasi tekanan udara yaitu 5 lpm, 10 lpm, 15 lpm. Hasil kondisi performa baterai sistem pendingin tipe wavy channel didapatkan pada variasi discharge yaitu dengan tekanan udara 5 lpm sebesar 0,1998, tekanan udara 10 lpm sebesar 0,1838, tekanan udara 15 lpm sebesar 0,2096, variasi charge yaitu dengan tekanan udara 5 lpm sebesar 0,1827, tekanan udara 10 lpm sebesar 0,1854, dan tekanan udara 15 lpm sebesar 0,2083.
