Abstract
This research aims to develop the three tier test assessment instruments to identify students' misconceptions on the concept of the circulatory system and to know the feasibility of the product. The research method was used Research and Development with Borg and Gall research design steps 1 to 6 involved of three main steps that have been modified, (1) data collection; (2) product development; (3) preliminary field testing product. This three tier test assessment instruments was judged by expert judgment consist aspects: materials, constructive matter, language, answer analysis guidelines, and presentation product used expert assessment sheets. The data obtained was used to improve the product’s content. Based on the results of the contents validity obtained was 87.3% with category very good and feasible to use as assessment instruments to identify students' misconceptions on the concept of the circulatory system for 11th grade of senior high school. Based on the preliminary field testing product obtained information that there misconceptions on every indicator on the concept of the circulatory system on 11th grade of SMAN 1 Ciruas.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian Three Tier Test untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa pada konsep sistem sirkulasi dan mengetahui kelayakan dari produk tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan desain penelitian Borg dan Gall tahap 1 sampai 6 yang dimodifikasi, yaitu (1) pengumpulan data; (2) pengembangan produk; dan (3) uji coba produk. Instrumen Three Tier Test ini dinilai dari aspek materi, konstruksi butir soal, bahasa, pedoman analisis jawaban, dan tampilan produk menggunakan instrumen angket penilaian ahli. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dan digunakan untuk perbaikan produk yang dikembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian ahli terhadap validitas isi diperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 87,3%, sehingga produk yang dikembangkan masuk kategori sangat layak digunakan sebagai instrumen penilaian untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa SMA kelas XI pada konsep sistem sirkulasi. Berdasarkan uji coba skala terbatas diperoleh informasi bahwa terjadi miskonsepsi siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Ciruas pada setiap indikator pada konsep sistem sirkulasi. | |||||||||
