Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using animated films on the expressive language of children aged 5-6 years at RA Hidayatullah Cilegon-Banten. This research used quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental research design. The total research sample in class B2 was 14 children. It was determined from preobservation data that expressive language had not yet developed. This research used prerequisite tests for validity and reliability instruments. Data analysis techniques used normality tests, homogeneity tests and T test hypotheses (real level) using the SPSS program. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the use of animated films on children's expressive language was proven to have quite a significant effect. Based on calculations, it was found that the T value was 5.285. Where the T value is significantly 0.000 < 0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it shows that there are differences in expressive language abilities in the experimental and control classes.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan film animasi terhadap bahasa ekspresif anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Hidayatullah Cilegon-Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Quasi Eksperimen. Dengan jumlah sampel penelitian di kelas B2 yang berjumlah 14 anak. Hal ini ditentukan dari data praobservasi yang bahasa ekspresif belum berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji prasyaratan instrumen validitas, realibilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan hipotesis Uji T (taraf nyata) dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan film animasi terhadap bahasa ekspresif anak terbukti berpengaruh cukup signifikan berdasarkan perhitungan diketahui besarnya nilai T sebesar 5,285. Dimana dalam nilai T tersebut dengan signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima itu menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan bahasa ekspresif di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol.
