Abstract

The research aims to know the level of eligibility of character story books based on character education on Denomination material and to know the student's response to the character-based picture book in the Denomination material. The research method used in this research is Research and Development, with design development Borg, W.R and Gall. The product assessment for the feasibility study of teaching materials was conducted by 3 experts including media experts, material experts, and linguists. The target of limited-scale product trial is the students of class III A State Elementary School Karundang 2 which amounted to 8 people. The result of the research of development of teaching materials in the form of character-based picture story books shows percentage of 90.5%, the percentage of achievement is included in the interpretation of "very worth". Student questionnaire results that have been accumulated show percentage of 92.65%. The percentage of achievement is included in the interpretation of "very worth".

Additional Information: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan buku cerita bergambar berbasis pendidikan karakter pada materi pecahan dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap buku cerita bergambar berbasis pendidikan karakter pada materi pecahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development, dengan desain pengembangan Borg, W.R and Gall. Penilaian produk untuk uji kelayakan bahan ajar dilakukan oleh 3 ahli antara lain ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa. Sasaran uji coba produk skala terbatas yaitu siswa kelas III A SD Negeri Karundang 2 yang berjumlah 8 orang. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar berupa buku cerita bergambar berbasis pendidikan karakter menunjukkan presentase sebesar 90,5%, persentase pencapaian tersebut termasuk pada interpretasi “sangat layak”. Hasil angket siswa yang sudah diakumulasikan menunjukkan persentase sebesar 92,65%. persentase pencapaian tersebut termasuk pada interpretasi “sangat layak”.
