Abstract

This research aims to study how the professional competence of instructors and learning motivation influence on the improvement of the work skills of training participants at BLK Kota Tangerang. This study involved 47 training participants at the Tangerang City Bloc. The sample used is a saturated sample. This investigation was conducted on the assumption that the professional competence of the instructor, motivation and work skills were not uniform among the training participants. Observations, documentation, and questionnaires or lifts are used to collect data. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of the research show that: 1) the professional competence of the instructor significantly influences on the improvement of the work skills of the training participants. 2) Learning motivation has a significant influence on the improvement of the work skills of the training participants. 3) the professional competence of the instructor and the learning motivation have a significant impact on the improvement of the work skills of the training participants at BLK Kota Tangerang

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari bagaimana kompetensi profesional instruktur dan motivasi belajar berdampak pada peningkatan keterampilan kerja peserta pelatihan di BLK Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini melibatkan 47 peserta pelatihan di BLK Kota Tangerang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Peneltiian ini dilakukan dengan asumsi bahwa kompetensi profesional instruktur, motivasi belajar dan keterampilan kerja tidak seragam diantara peserta pelatihan. Observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner atau angket digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kompetensi profesional instruktur berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan kerja peserta pelatihan. 2) motivasi belajar berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan kerja peserta pelatihan. 3) kompetensi profesional instruktur dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan kerja peserta pelatihan di BLK Kota Tangerang.
