Abstract
This research is motivated by the low ability of comprehension skill comprehension skill in reading comprehension aspect as a result of the less varied of learning model used by Indonesian subject teachers. In relation to this matter, the researcher intends to apply the use of Index Card Martch (ICM) and Jigsaw Learning model. The purpose of this research is to know (1) the effect of learning comprehension reading by using Jigsaw Learning model to comprehension skill comprehension skills, (2) influence of reading comprehension learning by using Index Card Martch model to comprehension skill comprehension skills, (3) Students who get the model of Card Card Martch is better than those who get regular learning with Jigsaw Learning model of comprehension skill comprehension skills. Research method is experiment. The experimental design uses the True Experimental Design design with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population is all students of class VII-A and VII-B SMP Darul Muqomah which consists of 2 classes. While the sampling technique using simple random sampling, where class VII-A as the control class and class VII-A as the experimental class. The research instrument used a description test. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that (1) the use of Jigsaw Learning model has a significant positive effect on comprehension skill comprehension skills, (2) use of Index Card Martch model has a significant positive effect on comprehension skill comprehension skills, and (3) use of Index Card Martch model (ICM ) Similar to those using the Jigsaw Learning model of comprehension skill comprehension skills.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan keterampilan pemahaman comprehension skill pada aspek membaca pemahaman sebagai akibat kurang variatifnya model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Sehubungan dengan hal, maka peneliti bermaksud menerapkan penggunaan model pembelajaran Index Card Martch (ICM) dan Jigsaw Learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh pembelajaran membaca pemahaman dengan menggunakan model Jigsaw Learning terhadap keterampilan pemahaman comprehension skill, (2) pengaruh pembelajaran membaca pemahaman dengan menggunakan model Index Card Martch terhadap keterampilan pemahaman comprehension skill, (3) pengaruh pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran Index Card Martch lebih baik dari pada yang mendapat pembelajaran biasa dengan model Jigsaw Learning terhadap keterampilan pemahaman comprehension skill. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen. Desain eksperimen menggunakan desain True Experimental Design dengan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B SMP Darul Muqomah yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling, dimana kelas VIII-A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII-A sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrument penelitian menggunakan tes uraian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) penggunaan model Jigsaw Learning berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keterampilan pemahaman comprehension skill, (2) penggunaan model Index Card Martch berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keterampilan pemahaman comprehension skill, dan (3) penggunaan model Index Card Martch (ICM) sama dengan yang menggunakan model Jigsaw Learning terhadap keterampilan pemahaman comprehension skill. | |||||||||
