Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between abilities problem solving before studying global warming material with a caring attitude environment. The research subjects consisted of 30 students in class X-G of SMA Negeri 2 Pandeglang. This research uses a quantitative approach, the type of research used in This research is a non-experimental correlational research. This research using simple regression analysis techniques. In taking samples, researchersusing a purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria, namely students who have not studied global warming material. The instruments in this research are: questionnaire (questionnaire) and data analysis using product moment. Research result There is a relationship between problem solving ability before studying the material global warming with students' environmental care attitude. With correlation value (rxy) amounting to 0.527 in the medium category and indicates a positive relationship. Apart from that, problem solving abilities can influence attitudes towards caring for the environment amounting to 27.8%.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebelum mempelajari materi pemanasan global dengan sikap peduli lingkungan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas X-G SMA Negeri 2 Pandeglang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional non eksperimental. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik analisis regresi sederhana. Dalam pengambilan sampel, peneliti menggunakan Teknik sampling purposive berdasarkan krikteria tertentu yaitu siswa yang belum mempelajari materi pemanasan global. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner (angket) dan analisis data menggunakan product moment. Hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan antara kemapuan pemecahan masalah sebelum mempelajari materi pemanasan global dengan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa. Dengan nilai korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0,527 dengan kategori sedang dan menandakan adanya hubungan yang positif. Selain itu kemampuan pemecahan masalah dapat mempengaruhi sikap peduli lingkungan sebesar 27,8%. | |||||||||
