Abstract
This study aimed determine the influence of application of the think talk write (TTW) learning model on cognitive ability’s student in the grade X on environment pollutionsubconcept in Muhammadiyah Senior High School Serang. This research was quasy experiment. The population of the research all of the student of Muhammadiyah Senior High School with the X.1 used as an exsperimental class and X.2 used as control class with purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique was test with multiple choice question and non test with instructional learing sheet. The data analysis of cognitive ability used Independent Sample T-Test. The result showed that application of TTW model influenced to cognitive ability’s student in the grade X on environment pollutionsubconcept in Muhammadiyah Senior High School Serang.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas X pada subkonsep pencemaran lingkungan di SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Serang. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi untuk penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Serang dengan sampel kelas X.1 X.2 sebagai kelas control melalui teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dengan soal pilihan ganda dan non tes dengan lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Analisis data kemampuan kognitif menggunakan Independent Samples T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran TTW berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas X pada subkonsep pencemaran lingkungan di SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Serang. | |||||||||
