Abstract
Bullying behavior is behavior that repeatedly hurts other people which is still often carried out by teenagers. In fact, on the other hand, there are many negative impacts of bullying behavior, both short and long term. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of group counseling services using role playing techniques in reducing bullying behavior in students. The research method uses quasi-experiment. The mean pre-test score for the experimental group was 97.63 and during the post-test it decreased by 70.13. Meanwhile, the mean pre-test score for the control group was 96.88 and at post-test it was 81.88. From the results of the Mann-Whitney test, it was found that the final mean for the level of bullying behavior of students in the experimental group with a score of 4.88 was lower than the mean for the control group which still got a high mean, namely 12.13. In testing the experimental group's hypothesis using the Mann-Whitney test, it was found that the Asymp Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.002 where the value is <0.05. So, the hypothesis in this study H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that providing group counseling services using role playing techniques has an effect in reducing bullying behavior for class VIII students at SMPN 10 Serang City.

Additional Information: | Perilaku bullying merupakan perilaku menyakiti orang lain secara berulang ulang yang masih sering dilakukan oleh remaja. Padahal, di sisi lain ada banyak dampak negatif dari perilaku bullying baik jangka pendek ataupun jangka panjang. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik role playing dalam mereduksi perilaku bullying pada siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen. Hasil mean skor pre-test kelompok eksperimen diperoleh sebesar 97,63 dan saat post-test menurun sebesar 70,13. Sedangkan, mean skor pre-test kelompok kontrol diperoleh sebesar 96,88 dan saat post-test diperoleh sebesar 81,88. Dari hasil uji mann-whitney diperoleh bahwa mean hasil akhir tingkat perilaku bullying siswa pada kelompok eksperimen dengan perolehan sebesar 4.88 lebih rendah jumlahnya dari mean kelompok kontrol yang masih memperoleh mean yang tinggi yakni sebesar 12.13. Pada uji hipotesis kelompok eksperimen menggunakan uji mann-whitney diperoleh bahwa nilai Asymp Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.002 dimana nilai tersebut < 0.05. Jadi, hipotesis dalam penelitian ini H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya, pemberian layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik role playing berpengaruh dalam mereduksi perilaku bullying siswa kelas VIII SMPN 10 Kota Serang. | |||||||||
