Abstract
The research aimed to identify influence guided inquiry learning model to student’s cognitive ability and psychomotor skill in respiratory human system subconcept. This research was quasi experiment with randomized control group design only. The population of the research was all students’ characteristic cognitive ability and psychomotor skill of grade XI SMAN 5 Kota Serang on period 2016-2017. The research sample consisted of two clasess, class XI IPA 1 as control class and XI IPA 2 as an axperimental class with simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique was test, observation and documentation. Data analysis technique used is independent sample t-test assistance with SPSS 16. The result showed average score of cognitive ability is 71 and psychomotor skill is 91. According to t-test result with a significansi level of 0.05, can be concluded that the implementation of guided inquiry learning model affected to student’s cognitive ability and psychomotor skill at SMAN 5 Kota Serang in respiratory human system sub-concept.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan psikomotor siswa pada subkonsep sistem pernapasan manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain randomized control group only. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karakteristik kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan psikomotor siswa kelas XI SMAN 5 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan independent samples t-test dengan bantuan SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif sebesar 71 dan keterampilan psikomotor sebesar 91. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan psikomotor siswa SMAN 5 Kota Serang pada subkonsep sistem pernapasan manusia. | |||||||||
