Abstract
The current research aimed to analyze a community strongly tied to religious norms and values, as well as sociocultural wisdom. Religious based activities here referred to both general and specific to a particular regional tradition that was an integral part of religious social practices. The problem was that the local community only occasionally participated in socio-religious activities in Kampung Lobang. However, for some, they were deemed valid and positively impacted the local environment in strengthening the community and maintaining the values of social and religious norms. The description of community participation and social action did not necessarily change the socio-religious character. Therefore, religious norms were indicated solely by community traditions in Kampung Lobang, Sukamurni Village, Balaraja District. The research was performed using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The informants in the study of the Kampung Lobang community. Meanwhile, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation and validated using triangulation of sources, techniques and time. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model: data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Results demonstrated that community participation in socio-religious activities focused on community social participation regarding the culture contained in religious values and norms. Involvement in decision-making was synonymous with social values and oriented toward idea generation. Participation took the form of donating funds, energy, skills, and the availability of infrastructure for implementing religious activities. The benefits for the society included material, social, and personal benefits, while participation in evaluation was done indirectly. The community’s social involvement in activities reflected the complexity of various motives and drives involving rational, value, traditional and affective factors. The social reality with nuances of religious values and norms provided a deeper understanding of the role of religion in people’s lives and the factors that encourage socio-religious and cultural participation and action.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji masyarakat lokal yang memiliki keeratan pertalian dengan nilai norma agama dan kearifan sosial budaya. Kegiatan nilai norma keagamaan, baik yang bersifat umum maupun tradisi khusus dalam suatu wilayah yang menjadi bagian penting dalam praktik sosial keagamaan. Sasaran masalahnya, kegiatan sosial keagamaan di Kampung Lobang tidak selamanya diikuti komponen masyarakat lokal. Meskipun bagi sebagian masyarakat diindikasikan memberikan dampak positif kepada lingkungan setempat guna mempererat silaturahmi dan mempertahankan nilai norma sosial agama. Disinyalir gambaran partisipasi dan tindakan sosial masyarakat tidak serta merta merubah karakter sosial keagamaan sehingga wujud nilai norma agama diindikasikan semata tradisi masyarakat di Kampung Lobang, Desa Sukamurni, Kecamatan Balaraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun informan dalam penelitian masyarakat Kampung Lobang. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperiksa menggunakan triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Analisa data menggunakan model interaktif Miles and Huberman: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan, partisipasi masyarakat pada kegiatan sosial keagamaan terfokus pada partisipasi sosial masyarakat atas budaya yang terkandung dalam nilai dan norma agama. Partisipasi pada pengambilan keputusan identik dengan nilai sosial dan lebih pada buah pikiran. Partisipasi dalam pelaksanaan terletak pada sumbangan dana, tenaga, keterampilan, dan ketersediaan sarana prasarana demi terlaksananya kegiatan keagamaan. Partisipasi dalam pengambilan manfaat meliputi manfaat material, sosial, dan pribadi. Partisipasi dalam evaluasi yaitu partisipasi tidak langsung. Tindakan sosial masyarakat dalam mengikuti kegiatan mencerminkan kompleksitas dari berbagai motif dan dorongan yang melibatkan faktor rasional, nilai, tradisional dan afektif. Realitas sosial bernuansa nilai dan norma agama telah memberikan pemahaman lebih mendalam mengenai peran agama dalam kehidupan masyarakat serta faktor yang mendorong partisipasi dan tindakan sosial budaya bernafaskan agama. | |||||||||
