Abstract
The study aims to know the differences in the understanding of concepts students in learning the IPS on the metter of economic actipity.research was carrid out in the elementary school Cigabus 2016/2017 years. This type of research that is used is the research a qualitative, the sample are used which is purvosife sampling to select the class ekperimen and control. In this study class V A and Class B as the control. The researce results obtained from the pretes and postes, for data analysis of qualitative the processed by the atatistics.based on the results of research data and testing of hypotheses can be concluded that: there is a difference the understanding of concept students between classes ekperimen and the use of the problem of maze solving with the control that uses model of learning directly. It is derivered from analysis of the postesthe one hand (right) with value thitung> then i ttabel that is 4,100 > 1,68 then ho was accepted Ha rejected. From these data indicate the presence of the difference between clasekperimen and celas control

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep siswa, dalam pembelajaran IPS pada materi Kegiatan Ekonomi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Cigabus tahun pelajaran 2016/2017.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sempel yang digunakan ialah purposive sampling untuk memilih kelas ekperimen dan kelas control. Pada penelitian ini, kelas V A sebagai kelas ekperimen dan kelas V B sebagai kelas control. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pretes dan posttes, untukan alisis data kualitatif tersebut diolah dengan rumus-rumus statistic.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian dan pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep siswa antara kelas ekperimen yang menggunakan model problem solving dengan kelas control yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Hal inidibuktikan dari analisa perhitungan postes ujisa tupihak (kanan) dengan nilai thitung> dar ittable yaitu 4,100 > 1,68 maka ho ditolah Ha diterima. Dari data tersebut menunjukan adanya perbedaan anatara kelas ekperimen dan kelas control. | |||||||||
