Abstract
Some concerns of farmers in Kongsijaya village regarding the renovation of irrigation canals during the second planting season caused farmers to find it difficult to get water availability in their rice fields. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the production and income spent by farmers during irrigation canal renovation and the effect of irrigation canal renovation on productivity and income of rice field farmers. This study used quantitative descriptive with the location of the research carried out in Kongsijaya Village, Widasari District, Indramayu Regency, West Java which was determined purposively (intentionally). This study used primary and secondary data. Primary data is information collected directly in the field through observation and interviews. While the secondary data in this study came from report data and documentation about the program. The results of this study can be seen that the average production is Rp. 30.832.530, and the average income is Rp. 15.896.997. As for the effect of irrigation canal renovation on productivity, the results have a partial negative effect with a calculated t value, namely – 2,837, and partial positive influence on income with a calculated t value, namely 7,797 with a table t value of 1,696 each, all Ho Rejected.

| Additional Information: | Beberapa kekhawatiran petani di desa Kongsijaya terkait renovasi saluran irigasi saat musim tanam kedua menyebabkan petani kesulitan mendapatkan ketersediaan air di sawahnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis produksi dan pendapatan yang dikeluarkan petani selama renovasi saluran irigasi dan pengaruh renovasi saluran irigasi terhadap produktivitas dan pendapatan petani sawah. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Desa Kongsijaya, Kecamatan Widasari, Kabupaten Indramayu, Jawa Barat yang ditentukan secara purposive (sengaja). Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer adalah informasi yang dikumpulkan langsung di lapangan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Data sekunder dalam penelitian ini berasal dari data laporan dan dokumentasi tentang program. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa rata-rata produksi sebesar Rp. 30.832.530, dan pendapatan rata-rata sebesar Rp. 15.896.997. Adapun pengaruh renovasi saluran irigasi terhadap produktivitas hasilnya berpengaruh negatif parsial dengan nilai t hitung yaitu – 2,837, dan berpengaruh positif parsial terhadap pendapatan dengan nilai t hitung yaitu 7,797 dengan nilai t tabel masing-masing 1,696, semua Ho Ditolak. | |||||||||
