Abstract
Drama is a form of mass communication media. Drama is not just an entertainment spectacle but also a form of social reality that has various moral messages in it. Researchers see the social reality of the equality of people with disabilities in Indonesia. One of the dramas that is currently being discussed and contains moral messages on the social reality of disability equality is the Korean drama Twinkling Watermelon. This research aims to find out how the content of moral messages about the equality of people with disabilities supports aspects of accessibility, equal opportunity, protection, and empowerment in the Korean drama Twinkling Watermelon. The research analysis technique used in this research is qualitative content analysis with a qualitative-descriptive approach and data collection techniques of documentation, literature, and interviews. The result of this research shows the content of the moral message of equality for people with disabilities in the aspect of supporting equal opportunities, namely the opportunity to demand legal justice, the opportunity to learn sign language, the opportunity to communicate, the opportunity to understand songs, and the opportunity to chat with friends. In the aspect of protection and empowerment, namely being protected from acts of violence and intimidation, protected from all forms of bullying, protected from acts of violence and confinement, and given a comfortable and quiet place to live. And in the aspect of supporting accessibility, namely access to communication tools, exchanging messages using a fax machine, and being given communication aids with hearing friends.

Additional Information: | Drama adalah salah satu bentuk dari media komunikasi massa. Drama bukan sekadar tontonan hiburan semata, tetapi juga sebuah wujud dari realitas sosial yang memiliki beragam pesan moral didalamnya. Peneliti melihat realitas sosial mengenai kesetaraan kaum difabel di Indonesia. Salah satu drama yang sedang hangat dibicarakan dan mengandung pesan moral atas realitas sosial tentang kesetaraan difabel adalah Drama Korea Twinkling Watermelon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana isi pesan moral tentang kesetaraan kaum difabel melalui aspek pendukung aksesibilitas, kesempatan yang sama, dan perlindungan serta pemberdayaan dalam Drama Korea Twinkling Watermelon. Teknik analisis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis isi kualitatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi, literatur dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan isi pesan moral kesetaraan kaum difabel pada aspek pendukung kesempatan yang sama yaitu kesempatan menuntut peradilan hukum, kesempatan mempelajari bahasa isyarat, kesempatan berkomunikasi, kesempatan memahami lagu, dan kesempatan mengobrol dengan teman. Pada aspek perlindungan dan pemberdayaan yaitu dilindungi dari tindak kekerasan dan intimidasi, dilindungi dari segala bentuk perundungan, dilindungi dari tindak kekerasan dan penyekapan, serta diberi tempat tinggal yang nyaman dan tenang. Dan pada aspek pendukung aksesibilitas yaitu akses mendapatkan alat komunikasi, bertukar pesan menggunakan mesin fax, dan diberi alat bantu komunikasi dengan teman dengar. | ||||||
