Abstract
Students' attitudes towards science are influenced by the environment in which they grow up. One environment that plays an important role in student attitudes is the school environment. Students' concern and awareness of science can determine how students' attitudes in life in the social environment and society. This study aims to analyze how students' science literacy in the aspect of attitude in chemistry lessons on global warming material in class X-1 SMAN 16 Tangerang Regency and what instruments are used to analyze students' attitudes. Based on these objectives, the research method used is descriptive qualitative using instruments in the form of questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of the research questionnaire, it was obtained that the average science literacy ability of students in the attitude aspect was in the moderate category, namely 75.68%. The results of observations and documentation show that there are some students who are less enthusiastic and motivated in learning chemistry. And from the results of interviews with several students it is known that their interest in science is still lacking even though the level of awareness of science is quite high. It can be concluded that there are still many students who give positive responses as well as negative responses to science.

Additional Information: | Sikap siswa terhadap sains dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan dimana siswa tumbuh dan dibesarkan. Salah satu lingkungan yang berperan penting terhadap sikap siswa adalah lingkungan sekolah. Kepedulian dan kesadaran siswa terhadap sains dapat menentukan bagaimana sikap siswa dalam kehidupan dilingkungan sosial dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana literasi sains siswa aspek sikap pada pelajaran kimia materi pemanasan global di kelas X-1 SMAN 16 Kabupaten Tangerang dan instrumen apa saja yang digunakan untuk menganalisis sikap siswa. Berdasarkan tujuan tersebut, maka metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil angket penelitian diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan literasi sains siswa aspek sikap berada dalam kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak 75,68%. Hasil observasi dan dokumentasi menunjukan terdapat beberapa siswa yang kurang semangat dan termotivasi dalam pembelajaran kimia. Dan dari hasil wawancara dengan beberapa siswa diketahui bahwa ketertarikan mereka terhadap sains masih kurang meskipun tingkat kesadaran akan sains sudah cukup tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa banyak siswa yang memberikan respon positif sekaligus respon negatif terhadap sains sehingga kemampuan literasi sainsnya masih dalam kategori sedang. | |||||||||
