Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease, quoted from the World Health Organization about 422 million people worldwide suffer from diabetes. Diabetes mellitus is characterized by unstable blood sugar, levels that can cause organ damage among which are blood vessels and nerves. Diabetes mellitus occurs when the body becomes resistant to insulin or does not produce enough insulin. Damage to blood vessels and nerves such as frequent tingling, cramps, and stiffness in the legs even to the point of changing shape is a complication of neuropathy that causes nursing problems ineffectiveness of peripheral perfusion that can affect quality of life. This can be overcome one of them with diabetic foot exercises. The purpose of the case study is as a form of implementation of ineffective peripheral perfusion nursing care in diabetes mellitus patients with diabetic foot gymnastics at Banten provincial hospital. In writing this scientific paper using methods with nursing care and using data collection techniques by means of interviews, observations, and physical examinations. From the results of studies in cases of ineffective peripheral perfusion in patients with diabetes mellitus, changes were obtained, namely the reduction of symptoms that are often felt such as cramps and tingling after doing leg exercises. The hat indicates that the problem of peripheral perfusion nursing is not partially resolved, so it requires (Recommended) further self-care with foot exercises in both patients.

Additional Information:	Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit metabolik kronis, dikutip dari world health organization sekitar 422 juta orang diseluruh dunia menderita diabetes. Diabetes melitus ditandai dengan ketidakstabilan kadar gula darah, yang bisa menyebabkan kerusakan pembuluh darah dan saraf. Diabetes melitus terjadi ketika tubuh menjadi kebal terhadap insulin atau tidak memproduksi insulin yang cukup. Kerusakan pada pembuluh darah dan saraf seperti seringnya mengalami kesemutan, kram, dan kaku pada kaki bahkan sampai mengalami berubah bentuk yang merupakan komplikasi neuropati yang menyebabkan masalah keperawatan ketidakefektifan perfusi perifer. Hal tersebut, dapat diatasi salah satunya dengan tindakan senam kaki diabetes. Tujuan dilakukannya studi kasus adalah sebagai bentuk pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan perfusi perifer tidak efektif pada pasien diabetes melitus dengan tindakan senam kaki diabetes di RSUD provinsi Banten. Pada penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan pemeriksaan fisik. Dari hasil studi pada kasus perfusi perifer tidak efektif pada pasien diabetes melitus didapatkan hasil terjadinya perubahan yaitu berkurangnya gejala yang sering dirasakan seperti kram dan kesemutan setelah melakukan senam kaki. Hat tersebut menandakan masalah keperawatan perfusi perifer tidak efektif teratasi sebagian, sehingga membutuhkan (Dianjurkan) perawatan mandiri lebih lanjut dengan senam kaki pada kedua pasien.
