Abstract
Research is based on curiosity about the development of media convergence from notable radio known as an outdated medium in this era of digital art. This study aims to find out Radio 106's media covergence activity FM DIA UNTIRTA in the digital age in broadcasting activities and dissemination of information to a wide audience. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a constructivist paradigm. Broadcasting activities and dissemination of information to a wide audience by Radio 106 FM DIA-UNTIRTA became objects in this study. Such broadcasting sctivity is analyzed with the concept of mediamorphosis, i.e., coevolution, convergence, and complexity. The study used the theory of mediamorphosis. The results of this study reveal that Radio 106 FM DIAUNTIRTA has performed convergence in accordance with the mediamorphosis theory presented by Roger Fidler by adopting 3 (three) its main concepts, namely coevolution, convergence and complexity. Coevolution refers to the easy use of Indonesian language that listeners can understand according to listener segmentation. Convergence performed by Radio 106 FM DIA-UNTIRTA is performed by combining conventional radio broadcasting with digital radio through live streaming YouTube as well as the use of social media to convey information and share its content. The complexity phase arises due to the support and constraints of both internal and external Radio 106 FM DIA- UNTIRTA itself, namely human resources, financial resources and means and pre-guarantees.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian didasari pada keingintahuan mengenai perkembangan konvergensi media dari radio yang notabene dikenal sebagai media yang sudah ketinggalan zaman di era yang era digital saait ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas kovergensi media Radio 106 FM DIA UNTIRTA di era digital dalam kegiatan penyiaran dan penyebaran informasi kepada khalayak luas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan paradigma konstruktivisme. Aktivitas penyiaran dan penyebaran informasi kepada khalayak luas oleh Radio 106 FM DIA-UNTIRTA menjadi objek dalam penelitian ini. Aktivitas Kegitan penyiaran tersebut dianalisa dengan konsep mediamorfosis, yaitu koevolusi, konvergensi, dan kompleksitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori mediamorfosis. Hasil penelitian ini memaparkan bahwa Radio 106 FM DIAUNTIRTA telah melakukan konvergensi sesuai dengan teori mediamorfosis yang dikemukakan oleh Roger Fidler dengan menganut 3 (tiga) konsep utamanya, yaitu koevolusi, konvergensi dan kompleksitas. Koevolusi mengacu kepada penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang mudah dimengerti pendengar sesuai dengan segmentasi pendengar. Konvergensi yang dilakukan oleh Radio 106 FM DIAUNTIRTA dilakukan dengan menggabungkan siaran radio konvensional dengan radio digital melalui live streaming YouTube serta penggunaan media sosial untuk menyampaikan informasi dan membagikan konten-kontennya. Tahap kompleksitas muncul karena adanya dukungan dan hambatan baik dari internal maupun eksternal Radio 106 FM DIA- UNTIRTA sendiri, yakni berupa kebutuhan sumber daya manusia, finansial serta sarana dan pra-sarana. | |||||||||
