Abstract
This research was motivated by the problem, namely the low level of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in trigonometry comparison material. Based on research that has been conducted, one of the factors underlying students' low mathematical problem-solving abilities is that the learning methods and models chosen by teachers are not applied appropriately to students. One learning model that can be used is the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) – Heuristic learning model. In its application, students are not only directed to find solutions to problems, but students are also taught to be able to identify problems, have steps in solving problems, make analyzes and evaluate problem solutions that have been created. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities on trigonometry comparison material using the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) - Heuristic learning model. This research was carried out at SMAN 6 Serang City in class X. The research method used in this research was a quasi-experimental method with a research design, namely The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling, based on considerations by discussing with the teacher in charge. The instruments used in this research are test instruments and non-test instruments. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, the conclusions obtained are L (1) The Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) learning model - Heuristics influences students' mathematical problem solving abilities in trigonometry comparison material; (2) The increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities in trigonometry comparison material in the experimental group which was given the LAPS - Heuristic learning model treatment was better compared to the control group which was not given this learning model; (3) Student responses based on the questionnaire given to students in the experimental group showed that students responded positively to the LAPS - Heuristic learning model applied in the experimental class.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yaitu masih rendahnya tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi perbandingan trigonometri. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, salah satu faktor yang mendasari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa itu rendah adalah metode dan model pembelajaran yang dipilih guru kurang tepat diterapkan kepada siswa. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) – Heuristik. Model pembelajaran ini dalam penerapannya, siswa tidak hanya diarahkan untuk menemukan solusi dari permasalahan, namun siswa juga diajarkan untuk mampu mengidentifikasi masalah, memiliki langkah–langkah dalam menyelesaikan masalah, membuat analisis, dan mengevaluasi penyelesaian masalah yang sudah dibuat. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi perbandingan trigonometri oleh model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) – Heuristik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 6 Kota Serang pada kelas X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan purposive sampling, berdasarkan pertimbangan dengan berdiskusi dengan guru yang mengampu. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes dan instrumen non tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan kesimpulan yaitu: (1) Model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) – Heuristik berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi perbandingan trigonometri; (2) Peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi perbandingan trigonometri di kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan model pembelajaran LAPS – Heuristik lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberi model pembelajaran tersebut; (3) Respon siswa berdasarkan angket yang diberikan kepada siswa di kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan hasil bahwa siswa merespon dengan positif terhadap model pembelajaran LAPS – Heuristik yang diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen tersebut. | |||||||||
